CHAPTER 42

NO ONE'S POV.

AND THE DAY passed, Mingyu haven't seen Wonwoo again after that talk with him. No more Wonwoo giving him food when it's lunch. No more Wonwoo waiting for him outside to see or talk with him. No more Wonwoo texting him every five minutes. No more Wonwoo to be seen.

Mingyu should be happy about it, alright. But, it's been two weeks since that happened and after Wonwoo stopped appearing, he feels something went missing. A part of him.

He can't focus on his work and he's been spacing out lately. His work mates noticed it and was always asking if he's alright which Mingyu will smile and tell them he's fine.

When it's lunch break, Mingyu will wait for someone to give him his lunch which is Wonwoo always did back then but, no. Lunch break has ended and no one appeared.

He's starting to get pissed off. Both of his hand and jaw clenched as he sat on his swivel chair silently.

Yes, he's been skipping his lunch after that. Waiting for someone to give  him his food.. and that someone just stopped appearing.

He cannot understand himself. He wants him gone. He wants him out of his sight and stop bothering him. He wants that. But why would he suddenly look for him when that guy himself already obeyed his wish?

Why would he make himself suffer after all that talk and pushing that guy away? Why would he look for him?

There's so many why's filled his mind that stress him out. Out of frustration he felt at this moment, we went out of his cubicle office.

He needs to cool his mind. When he got out of the company, he immediately looked for a cab and when he did, he went straight to the mall.

Mingyu was silently eating his food with a frown on his face. He's eating a meat, alright. That made him remember Wonwoo.. that guy always scold him back then to avoid eating meat because Wonwoo said it's unhealthy. He doesn't know that he was already diagnosed with sickness that doesn't have a cure.

Mingyu just smiled bitterly before digging his food, not energetic at all.

As he eat silent, two person entered the restaurant, making Mingyu lift his head to see who it was. To his shock, it's a beautiful lady that he once saw while him and Wonwoo was on vocation. Wonwoo introduced that girl as Wonwoo's ex's cousin.

And to his surprised, the reason with all of the mess inside of his mind these past few weeks is with her. Wonwoo.

He watched the two take their seats on the table not far away with him. He scoffed and went back on eating his food. How funny He immediately found a new one. I can't believe him that the girl is just Ma'am Lindsay's cousin. He thought and shook his head infuriated.

And here he thought that the reason of Wonwoo stopped appearing is because he said so.. but, no. He stopped showing up because he found a new one.. better than him.

That thought made him stopped. It feels like a thousand of daggers stab him directly on his heart and felt it ache. Better.

He slowly lay his eyes on the girl Wonwoo with and stared at her for a moment.

They really look good together. That is what most of the people considered normal in this world. No one will look at them weirdly. No one will judge them. No one will talk behind their backs that what they're doing and what they have is a sin... For them, it's not disgusting.

His breath hitched when he saw the girl reached for Wonwoo's hand and hold it. It made him diverted his gazes and returned his attention to his hands.

That's normal for everybody. They're free to do that. Even if me and Wonwoo will do that in public, we won't received an 'aww' 'they're so cute' from anybody.. instead, thousands of judgments and weird looks we will received. That's what society works. It really sucks.

That made Mingyu pissed and loses his self at the moment. He became anxious. He can't take the tension so he decided to stood up from his seat and paid for his orders before leaving that place. It's already enough with what he saw. It's confirmed that Wonwoo doesn't love him anymore. He's all say and words. He believed him. But, not anymore. He was slapped by the reality and made him realized everything. And that hurts him the most.

These past few weeks, he's thinking about that guy if he's doing fine or have he already eaten? He's always thinking about him but here's he was, enjoying his time with another woman.

That's enough for today. Enough with the pain. He needs a rest. Maybe he should just focus on himself and stop with the Wonwoo anymore. It's already obvious that he already moved on.
