CHAPTER 52
MINGYU'S POV.
MY eyes stared at the calendar as my thoughts got drown by some useless stuffs that nothing gave me but pain. Sighing, I closed my eyes and chortled. I've been in this white empty room who got nothing but a small kitchen, small bed: enough for one person to fit on, a small window where I can view the scenarios outside and an IV besides me for about three weeks.
Yes, Wonwoo would visit me during his free days and would reach me out from time to time. Mom would pay me a visit everyday while my friends would pay me a visit every saturday. It's always a normal day but it feels so different.
I no longer work since the doctor advised me to focus on myself for a meantime so that my situation won't get worsen. Mom would always keep me accompany and will only leave when it's almost evening. So, in the end, I'm always alone. But, hey, Me and Wonwoo would contact each other every now and then and before I sleep.
Today is sunday in the morning and the beautiful sun light is entering in my not so big window, making me see the dust flying around as I stare at the sun light across the room. And then, a yawn escaped my lips before I shifted my gaze to the room where a man just entered.
Looking at him on his attire, you could tell that he just came from his business meeting. Smiling all the way toward me, he placed the plastic bag he was holding that I noticed just now.
"How are you feeling?" His deep manly voice echoed that four corners of the room. He reached for my hair and caressed it, eyes looking at me.
I snorted. "Nope. I got a headache." While massaging my temple.
He pursed his lips before pulling away, planting a soft kiss on my forehead. "I have a medicine here. Wait, I'll get it for you."
He started digging in his plastic bag and pulled a small medicine before handing it to me. I thanked him after taking the medicine and reached for the glass of water on my side table.
"Is there someone visited you before me?" He suddenly asked, out of the blue.
My brows narrowed before shaking my head, answering him. Wonwoo raised his left brow before shifting his gazes from me to the door. "Then, who is the man in his business attire sitting on the bench outside of your room? I can't see his face since he's looking down."
I got curious and at the same time, confused from what he said. But our confusion and curiosities soon got its answers when a man on his business attire entered the room that left me frozen on my spot. Unconsciously, my hand tightened its grip to the glass I'm holding.
The man Wonwoo was talking about is no other than the man who despise and disgusted about me, my Dad. He still has this aura that screams authority. Not only that, His looks also screams that his super rich. But, something looks different about him.
Dad got black shade under his eyes that says he hasn't been able to sleep properly. He also lost weight. Dad totally looked so different from the last time I saw him.
Both me and Wonwoo become a rock while staring at him. He glanced at Wonwoo and me before releasing a deep sighs.
"I want to speak to the both of you."
