CHAPTER 41

NO ONE'S POV.

Days had been passed and Mingyu's behavior toward Wonwoo changed. He became cold and sometimes aggressive. Wonwoo noticed that but he didn't give up with that. He knows that Mingyu is doing it with a reason.

He wants to believe it. But, Mingyu always pushing him away and throw rants that will surely hurt his feelings somehow hurt him.

But he cannot give up with his baby yet. For him, it's just another challenge that he have to face to finally win him back. He knows that his baby still got a special spot for him.. soft spot for him.

Mingyu already quit his job from his company and applied to a different one which is he's successfully accepted and Wonwoo is fine with that. He's happy for his baby.

He understand him. He knows that Mingyu is doing this for him to not get hurt when the time comes that Mingyu will die. He wants to believe that theory.. but when he meets him, the thoughts that Mingyu don't like seeing him anymore comes first. He feels that Mingyu no longer needs him. Mingyu keeps on pushing him away and always act cold. Wonwoo is hurt, alright but he can't give him up.

Every day, Wonwoo will send a healthy food to Mingyu's work every lunch break so he can eat properly. But, Mingyu always reject the food and would give to his co-workers instead. But, Wonwoo doesn't give up. He continues on doing that even though he's already hurting.

"What do you want?" You could sense a cold on Mingyu's tone as he faced Wonwoo with his emotionless face.

Wonwoo smiled and cleared his throat. "How have you been? I've been asking your friends about you but they won't tell me anything. I'm worried. Are you eating well?" Mingyu rolled his eyes before sliding both of his hands inside of his pocket.

"It's none of your business." Wonwoo nodded his head before beaming a smile at him.

"Well, at least always eat healthy foods—" Mingyu didn't let him finish his mid-sentence when he cut him off.

"Leave me alone." And as simple as it is, he turned his back at Wonwoo. "And stop sending me foods or whatever you always do. I already quit my job in your company. I'm nobody in your life anymore. Leave me alone." And with those daggers of words he stabbed to Wonwoo, he walks away. Leaving Wonwoo behind.

Wonwoo stood there as he watches his baby's figure fade away from his sight. His hand where holding Mingyu's lunch, tightened its grip before releasing a frustrating sigh.

"I can't just give up like that.. I can't give up.." He immediately left that place and gave the food to a homeless person. Wonwoo continued on researching about Mingyu's sickness, trying to find a ways of how to cure it.

Every weeks, he would go waiting for Mingyu outside of the company where Mingyu works for about twenty minutes before giving the food to the guard and would asked a favor to give the foods to Mingyu which the guard will always accept and after those, he will came back from his company and would do some more research to Mingyu's sickness. He's that too desperate to cure Mingyu and be healthy again. He doesn't want to lose him.

And as always, Mingyu will push him away which Wonwoo already get used to it so it doesn't hurt that much anymore but it still have a small pain. But unlike before, it doesn't hurt like the first time Mingyu pushed him away.

"Can we talk?" Wonwoo blocked Mingyu's way as the younger frown and stare at him agitated.

"What?!" He hissed and stab Wonwoo with his dark stares.

"You don't want me anymore?" Mingyu didn't think twice and immediately answered him.

"Yes! So, leave me alone!" He sneers before pushing Wonwoo but the older immediately got held of his hand before he could push him away.

"That much?" Wonwoo pursed his lips before locking his eyes with him. "Do you want me out of your sight and left you unbothered?" Mingyu's jaw clenched before looking away and pulled his hand back.

"Yes!" Mingyu said that made Wonwoo nodded his head.

He licked his lower lip before beaming at Mingyu. "If that's what will make you happy then.. I'll do it.." Mingyu was taken aback and paused momentarily as he watches Wonwoo infront of him walked pass him.

And before could Wonwoo leave him, "Please do take care of yourself for me.. I can't do that to you anymore since I'll be far away from you from now on.." And left.
