I walk trough the doors of the main ballroom. After scanning the crowd I walk over to Rhodey. He stood by Nat and Sam and it seemed like he told them one of his War Machine stories. "And I said 'Boom! You looking for this?' " Nobody laughed. "Why don't you laugh?" he asks, looking at them a little bit upset. "We already know this story Rhodey, that's why we don't laugh", I say, walking up to them. He just shocks his head an walks away. "Wow kid, nice dress", Tony said walking over to us. I look down sheepishly and thank him. We all start to talk about random things when suddenly half the party explodes.
I wake up completely disorientated. My eyes are still closed but I hear a ringing in my ear. Suddenly I can hear shuffling and panicked people, who try to get out. I open my eyes and stand up, leaning on the wall next to me. Looking around I see a few passed out people, Avenger running out, most likely to get their weapons and suits. Aspen and Kandyce lie unconscious on the floor. It looks like Kandyce absorbed the heat and energy of the explosion. Emma helps Skye up in another corner of the room. A lot of people try to escape. I make my way over to Nat, seeing that she isn't unconscious. "Let's go! We have to get our weapons", she says and walks out. I follow her into the locker room where she already puts on her suit. Clint walks in and tells us to not forget our comms. Gosh, that happened one time and now he reminds me every time. After we finished we went to walk out, but suddenly another explosion happens. On our level. Everything turns black again. The last thing I see is Nat falling down, unconscious.
