I'm standing in front of maddie, unconscious on her bed.
The figure starts walking out of the closet, I'm to dizzy to see what their wearing. Everything is pounding and I can feel the bandage on my head starting to loosen.
The fire alarm has been going off for a minute or two, but it isn't doing anything. I use my powers to stop it making noise. I'm still on fire and lavas dripping all down my cheek, pouring from my eye.
I put out my arm to try and wake Maddie. My arm goes straight through her. I'm hallucinating.
I start hearing screams from sub level 8. It sounds like Maddie. I hope she's okay, I wish I could be there with her right now but I have to fight whoever this is.
The figure is walking towards me and I'm in disbelief that Maddie isn't actually there, laying on the bed behind me.
Then Maddie disappears. Whoever the figure is, they have been able to get into my mind and hallucinate me.
Wait. I can do that.
A shock goes down my back and I can feel the figure getting into my mind.
I'm trying to stop it. I'm trying to be the more powerful being.
But whoever we are fighting, their stronger versions of ourselves.
