Kandyce suddenly flings a fireball at Bruce, setting some trees in the distance on fire. He dodges it, and she flies off to fix the fires.
"I guess that's your choice, then." He says, preparing. I double tap my suit, expanding my mask. I jump down from what I was standing on. I notice a little button on my gloves, and press it. Wheels come out from my feet. Roller skates!
"TONY PUT ROLLER SKATES IN MY SUIT!" I exclaim, jumping a bit. I fall on my butt and remember I'm not really the best at skating. Who cares, it'll look badass. I wish I hadn't left my knives on the bus, it's a lot easier and less draining to do hand to hand or knife combat than using my powers. As much as I like my powers, I usually don't use them unless I have to.
I find all the sound around me and direct it at Bruce. He covers his ears, but I can only keep going for so long. I lower the frequency enough to make him explode. Ive never done it before, but I know I can. I focus on just him, so I don't hurt anyone else. He's not even affected.
I stop, and pant. "Seriously?"
I skate over to him quickly and use my powers to try and knock him over at least, but it doesn't work. He's just standing there.
"Are you done yet?" He asks
"No," I say kicking him in the face. He wasn't expecting it, and he staggers back. I fall on my butt since my skates are still active. The roller skates are definitely making my kicks better, the wheels and stopper are heavy. It's already getting dark, and I notice the wheels light up.
"THE WHEELS LIGHT UP!" I shouted. "THIS IS SO COOL!"
While I'm celebrating and not paying attention, Bruce sticks his foot out so I trip and crack my head on the pavement.
And everything goes black.
