Luka and I make our way down to the stables. We walk in and I go to the storeroom. It's full of food, saddles and other things for the horses.
I grab a bag of food and poor it into a large bowl that lays in the middle of the stables. I look behind me, Luka is standing around watching me do all the hard work.
"Get your ass here and help me" I say as I open one of the gates to let out a horse. Luka opens some of the gates and I open the rest.
"There so beautiful" I say, admiring the horses white wings. Luka nods as he watches the horses eat.
I walk up to my horse and pat her on her forehead. She trods off to eat some of the food I poured into the bowl. We both sit down on some stools.
"They really live in royalty don't they?" Luka laughs.
"They do. I never really thought about it" I remark. It's true though. Most of their stables are made up of gold. It's spotless and whenever they poo someone always quickly picks it up.
My horse trods back to me. "Hello" I smile as I pat her neck. I notice she's a bit dirty. "I'm gonna clean her, can you guide the rest of them outside please?" I ask Luka.
"Yep" he says as he gets on a horse. I watch him walk out with the rest of the horses, into the fields.
I grab some water and shampoo. After my horse is all dry, I take her outside with the other horses to dry off. I lay down in the field full of flowers next to Luka.
"Do you ever think about Earth? going back with the rest" I ask him. He looks at me. I put my hands behind my head. "Do you think the apocalypse has happened?".
We both sit up and watch the horses dance around the field. "I've been talking to everyone the past 2 years" he confesses.
"What?" I'm shocked. Why didn't he tell me? I haven't talked to my best friends for the past 2 years. I didn't even know if they were alive, yet he hid it from me. "Well, why didn't you tell me?" I demand.
"I don't know. Odin might have had something to do with it" he tells me.
I'm shocked, but not surprised. If anyone was gonna stop me from going to earth it would be Odin. I pull out my phone from my pocket. "Put their numbers in please" I pass my phone to Luka.
He hesitates before he takes it and puts their numbers in. I grab it back and look at their contacts. "Tony?" I look up at Luka in disbelief.
"Don't message him though. He won't be happy, just for emergencies I added him" he tells me then walks up to the horses to take them back inside.
I message Mara.
I get up and brush the grass off my jeans. I run over to Luka. "I'm going to earth are you coming with me or not?" I blurt out.
"What when?" he asks me.
"Tomorrow, are you coming with me or not" I demand.
