As soon as Alice told us that she saw dad and Bucky I felt a wave of relief wash over me. Thank god they are okay. We quickly made our way over to them, Alice flying and me running as fast as I can. As soon as dad and Bucky saw us they ran up to us. Dad engulfed me in a hug, making sure that I'm okay continually. After our little reunion we looked at each other. "What are we going to do now?", Lindy asked looking at us. "We should try to find the others", Bucky suggested. "We already tried that and could only find you guys", Lindy explained. Dad looked around, trying to find a solution. "Maybe we should find out who's behind all of this", I said, trying to do something helpful. "No, we should try to find the others and somehow get the comms to work", Dad replied, clearly not liking the idea. "We already told you that we couldn't find anyone else", Alice said, annoyance lacing her voice. "What if Nat woke up now?" I asked, turning to Alice. "What do you mean 'Nat woke up'?" Bucky demanded. "Nat was with me when the second explosion happened. She was unconscious so we put her into a room and looked it. She could easily get out if she wants to", I added the last part as soon as I saw dad's disapproving look. At least not the eyebrows of disappointment. "Where is she?" Lindy asked. "We left her in one of the rooms near the locker room", I explained. "Let's go then", dad said and started to walk into the direction of the locker room.
As soon as we stepped into the building I felt kind of odd. Dad walked in front of Alice, Jordon, Lindy and I and Bucky behind us. I laid my hand on the handle of my gun, ready to shoot anyone who came across us. I checked on the others and saw that they were ready to fight. Let's hope we don't have to, but who am I kidding? We are Avengers. We always have to fight. I heard a noise coming from our left. Lindy, who walked next to me tensed up.
In the hallway to our left stood a figure.
I grabbed my gun, aimed at the mysterious person and went to pull the trigger, when suddenly a loud bang was heard. I saw my dad jumping Infront of Lindy and I who were the closest to the person. Then everything went black for me.
