Miss Augustus scheduled the tryouts for Tuesday, the day after the press conference. She definitely did that on purpose. We get together and work our ass off in training to prepare, but I can tell she has a plan.
She's already fired everyone Tony hired, including Happy. Even Pepper's been banned from the property, so Mara's not doing so well. She hired a bunch of new government and SHIELD employees.
During the weekend and subsequent week, we plan for the press conference. We know there will be tons of questions about Tony and even more about SHIELD and the new management.
According to Livia, SHIELD is working with the Avengers in conjunction with the government. Fury was fired awhile ago, and no one was even told. Everyone was floored. That's a major issue and no one even knew.
Ever since the party, the governments been worried about how well the Avengers can handle themselves, so they're using SHIELD to keep an eye on us.
New management means new tryouts means new contracts, and could even mean new teammates.
