"Maraaaaa" I hear a teasing voice from behind me. I turn around to see Jay and Pietro's variant calling Mara's variant in.
Mara slowly comes in, revealing herself from behind a corner. She looks really intimidating, and if it weren't for her being evil and all, I would have dropped the whole fight and started hyping her up.
Mara's eyes are completely covered in ice, her veins have turned into vines and are almost popping out of her skin.
"Oh goddess-" I mumble under my breath. Everyone seems to hear because they all look at me, as if waiting for me to make the first move. But I don't, instead I send a telepathic message to Jay's mind, telling her to do something about it since it's her variant.
I look at Maddie, as she starts walking to my side in a cautious manner. We are all lined up together, looking as intimidating as possible. But the variants of Mara, Jay and Pietro don't seem fazed.
"Ok, can we just kill you and go back? I wouldn't really mind that" the variant of Pietro says, his sokovian accent has faded a lot more then it has compared to the actual Pietro.
"Hmmm. No. How about I shove these nuts right down your throat, then I can send two giant spears of metal straight through your hearts" Jay says jokingly.
"Pfft. Kandeez nuts-" Jay's variant brushes off.
I just look at Jay's variant dead in the eyes, lava still dripping onto the floor. But let's be completely honest, I was trying to hold in my laugh.
If these variants of ourselves weren't as evil, I would actually be friends with them. Except for Tony and Steve. We can't handle one of them, let alone two.
We all stand still, looking at eachother and occasionally at the ceiling or floor to break the stare. It seems to go on for about a minutes, although it feels like it went on for ten.
I hear something, but I can't make out the sound. Then before I can think, 3 metal spears goes through the variants of Jay, Pietro and Mara. They all fall to the floor and blood pours across the white tiles.
"I uhm- ok? I'll accept that" I say as I jog towards the variant of Mara to check she's dead. As I lift up her head, my hands start burning. I control the heat to make it stop. I get blasted across the room, landing on my hip.
I reach for my hip, no severe injuries. All that it seems like is that I could bruise. I stand up on my feet and find and the metal spears on the floor, all the variants are back up on their feet.
"You do realise I can heal?" Jays variant protests.
"Girl I can too you aren't special" Jay snaps back as she starts manipulating the pipes in the roof.
"We gotta kill Mara and Jay, unfortunately" I say sarcastically as I run towards Mara's variant
"Can you handle that? The person you've known since birth?" Pietro's variant insists, trying to make me uncomfortable and guilty.
"Yeah, I can handle that, knowing you guys destroyed the human population" I say as I extend my leg out and kick Mara in the chest, right where her heart is. She goes down with a shock.
She falls hard on the ground, her skull makes a loud crack and within seconds her eyes have rolled backwards and bloods pouring from every direction of her head.
"Woops-" I'm genuinely surprised that it was that easy to kill her. She looked so powerful and strong. Yet again I did hit her right in the chest.
Maddie and Pietro are fighting Pietro's variant while Jay fights herself.
Everything gets loud. Not a mind explosion. Not now.
