I wake up and rush to my wardrobe. "What would be good to wear to Disneyland?" I mumble to myself as I open drawers and slam them shut.
"I'll just go with something basic" I whisper under my breath as I bob down to open the bottom drawer. I settle on deep blue skin tight jeans with a green knitted tank top. It's freezing outside so I just throw a grey oversized cardigan over my shoulders.
I go to my bathroom and brush my hair and teeth then decide what jewellery I'm going to wear. It probably isn't a good idea to wear jewellery to a theme park but I don't worry to much. I put on the rings Thor and Loki got as well as a plain thin grey ring. I try to convince myself that I won't need my suit but it ends up around my neck anyways.
I put on a pair of plain white sneakers and head to the kitchen. Dee is picking at some strawberries that are in a bowl on the counter. I grab one and put it in my mouth.
That strawberry was perfect oh my" I say as I throw the leaves in the bin. I open the fridge, grab my overnight oats and sit down next to Dee.
"Have they found Bruce yet?" I ask him as he puts a strawberry in his mouth.
He does the awkward fast chewing thing then answers, "nope, not even civilians have seen him. I don't know where he is, I don't even have a clue" he says as he puts another strawberry in her mouth.
Fair enough" I say as I scoop up some oats onto my spoon and eat them. I think about prom night. Maddie told me he went down an alley way but she lost him. Prom was 3 nights ago, it was on a Saturday night.
"Are you going to Asgard on Thursday?" I ask Dee. He probably will but I just wanted to make sure.
"Yep! I heard Erika was coming too?" He questions. I forgot to tell him about Erika coming to Asgard.
"Yeah she wanted to come. She hasn't came in a few months now so I asked her if she wanted to" I explain as I finish my oats.
"I wonder how everyone else will go knowing that the 2 most powerful avengers aren't here" Dee brags in a jokingly voice.
"I wouldn't say we are the most powerful, but we are up there with Mara" I say, crushing his ego.
"Someone needs to humble him" Flynn says as he walks into the kitchen, grabbing an apple and biting into it.
"He grew up on Asgard..." I explain but Flynn just looks at me confused. "We are treated like royalty there, we are known as like the most powerful people there".
"Someone needs to humble Flynn" Dee blurted.
I hear Dee and Flynn bicker but I just leave and head to Mara's room. I knock on the door and she calls me to come in. She's dressed in casual clothing but she will stand out from all the rest of us Avengers.
"Come with me to Asgard on Thursdayyy" I wine as I sit on her bed and watch her do her hair. She just looks at me through the mirror, "I don't want to be stuck with Dee. And Erika will be with Odin most of the time. I think he wants to try and help her become more powerful or something" I explain.
"I'll think about it" she says as she gets her phone and purse. We walk back down to the kitchen and walk in on Tony lecturing Dee for eating all the strawberries because we were meant to bring them to Disneyland today.
Tony notices me and Mara standing on the side of the room, because he flings himself around and points right at my chest. "And YOU. Don't you read ANYONES minds today or your off the team".
"I'll be off the team? I've heard that before, you couldn't handle anything if I was off the team. Who would bring you coffee every morning?" I say as I take a seat on one of the stools at the kitchen bench.
Mara would bring me coffee every morning" Tony says as he changes the subject to Mara.
"No I wouldn't?" Mara laughs as she takes a seat on the stool next to me.
"I'll read whoever's mind I want to whenever I want to. Plus if you got rid of me then my dad comes with me and the only reason why Loki is here is because of my dad so that means Loki and Thor will come back to Asgard with me, and Dee will obviously follow sooo" I bicker.
"Whatever. Just go get ready" Tony leaves the kitchen towards his bedroom.
"Someone needs to humble him" Flynn joked.
"Shut up Flynn or I'll send you to outer space" Dee threatens in a joking voice.
After everyone is ready, we meet up out the front of the compound. A large bus is parked in the driveway. Everyone starts laughing except for Tony and Steve.
"You actually hired a bus?" Jay says as she runs down the front steps.
"He bought it. Now everyone get in." Steve orders as he guides everyone up the few steps in the bus.
Tony walks pass Jay, Mara, Ariba and I and mumbles awkwardly under his breath "Steve made me do it". He then puts his shaded glasses on and hops in the bus.
We all sit down in pairs. Jay sits next to Pietro, Mara with Ariba, Maddie and I, Dee and Erika. I can't see everyone else since they are out of my view.
The bus starts and we are going down the rubble driveway, down to the main road. "I fucking hate buses" I whisper to Maddie and she chuckles.
