CREDITS TO MADDIE!!
My eyes go back to normal, my pupils dilate.
I walk up to Jay and Pietro, leaving the variant of me behind.
As I'm about to squish in between Pietro and Jay to leave Maddie's room, I sense a movement behind me.
I turn around sharply, facing the variant of me.
She slowly gets up and lava starts dripping from my eyes again, this time they just roll down my cheeks, don't my neck and down my black dress the rests on my thighs.
I kick off my heels, the fly into the air and land on the rug beside Maddie's bed.
I know this is going to be a fight. I may have taken the variant of my selves powers, but I've been taking magic classes with Loki since I can remember.
I start hovering in the air, and kick Pietro and Jay out of the room before I slam the door shut.
I face the variant of myself, she pulls out knives from thin air. What a classic, I've known how to do that since I was 13, I'm now 734.
The variant of myself talks for the first time, "oh come on, fire? mind manipulation? Why don't we just fight... hand to hand". Her voice is soothing, calming, you wouldn't have known she was evil if you were just walking to her on the street.
"Hmmm. Let me think" I sarcastically say.
But I knew I wanted to prove to this variant of myself that I can fight, that I am more superior then her. That I can fight without using my powers.
I take all the heat from the air in the room, then I retrieve to my usual self before I pull two daggers from thin air.
I run toward her and throw a knife, aiming at her throat. She slides down on her knees and cuts her dagger through my left thigh.
I fall to the ground and quickly unravel the bandage from right thigh. As I start putting the bandage around the 20 cm cut going down my thigh, the variant of myself gets up and wipes my blood on her suit.
She walks up to me and aims the knife at my chest before she throws it. I prepare for the worst, possible death.
But it never comes, I open my eyes to find the knife, two inches from my chest. I look to my left to find Jay in the doorway, using her metal manipulation to stop the knife.
She flips the knife around and digs it straight into the variant of me's chest before she comes and bobs down next to me.
"Your an idiot", she comments while grabbing the bandage from my grip and wrapping it around my left thigh.
"Thanks" I say while sitting on the floor, leaning against Maddie's bed frame.
"Pietro can you get a bobby pin from Maddie's bathroom cupboard" Jay orders Pietro.
Pietro runs into her bathroom and within a second he has a container full on bobby pins in his grip.
"Thank you". Jay opens the container and grabs one before securing the bandage. She puts her hand to my above my ear and starts healing it.
She does the same with my head and both my thighs before she holds her hand out to help me up.
Pietro walks up to the variant of myself, "yep she's definitely dead" he says before picking her up and throwing her over his shoulder.
"Put her down for a second" I say and he lays her on the floor. I reach for the knife in her chest and pull it out.
"I'll have this" I say as I wipe the blood on her suit, "I'll also get that suit later" and I back away from the deceased body so Pietro can pick it up again.
As we walk out of Maddie's room, Jay questions me. "Why didn't you let us fight?" she sounds annoyed with me.
"I don't know? Because- I didn't want you getting hurt" I drag out each word.
"Lies" she rolls her eyes.
"Fine. I wanted the glory and attention of killing a more powerful variant of myself" I tell her the truth.
"Your really no better then Loki" Jay complains.
"He is my uncle" I remark.
The rest of the walk down to level one is in complete silence.
"Where is everyone?" I say, looking at the empty dance floor.
"I moved them to the side of the room" Jay says and she gestures for me to follow her.
I turn around the corner but Jay pulls out a long piece of metal and spins around before hitting me on the side of the head.
I fall to the ground.
