I woke up and felt a stinging pain in my face. Most likely a cut. I start to focus on my surroundings. The air isn't fresh. It's pretty cold and the floor is hard. I can't hear anything. I open my eyes and slowly sit up, supporting my self with the wall behind me. After I got into a sitting position I start to look around. The room feels strangely familiar. Then the realization hit me. It was my cell in the H.Y.D.R.A. base. I quickly stand up, ignoring my slight headache and start to walk over to the bars, but I trip over something. Looking down I see that there are chains on the floor. The chains they used to restrain me to the wall. It looks exactly the same like the last time. Looking up I see that my hand restrains dangle from the ceiling. This can't be real. The base got blown up. It's completely impossible. I can feel a panic attack coming and try to distract myself, strangely my powers work.
After a few minutes I hear a door opening and closing at the end of the hallway in front of my cell. A figure walks closer. I get this strange feeling of familiarity while looking at them. They stop walking as soon as they reach my cell. I stand up, ready to fight.
"Common, we won't fight against each other, right?" they say mockingly. The voice is feminin and familiar. Too familiar."Are you going to say something or will you just stare at me?" she demands sounding a little bit angry.
"Who are you?" I ask her, my voice free from any emotion. I was trained for a reason after all.
"You should know who I am", is her teasing reply. She enjoys all of this.
"Just answer me", I order her, my voice rasing slightly."Do you need you glasses or something?" Gosh, she really enjoys getting on my nerves.
"No, I don't. Now answer me or you will be sorry", I threaten her standing up and reading myself for a fight.
"Oh, does the soldier want to fight", she asks me giggling. Oh, I'm going to enjoy this.
"I should let you out of your cell at least, so that your chance to win will be a little bit higher" she says while walking over to my cell. She opens the lock and tells me to step out. I really don't know how but we ended in the training room at the base. I look at her irritated while she just giggles. These giggles really go on my nerves."Don't you think you should wear something more appropriate for a fight?" I ask her looking her clothes up and down. She wears black pants, a mask and a black coat that covers her hair and half of her face.
"How you wish." She takes of her hood, revealing long, brown hair. After that she slowly gets out of her coat. Her suit looks familiar, like a long lost memory.
"You might want to look away" she says, not taking her mask of yet.
"I don't think so."
"Your decision."
I was completly shocked after she took of her mask. She looks exactly like me. She has way more scars but apart from that she could be my twin.
"I'm not your twin", she says teasingly, most likely hoping that she was right about my thoughts.
But I never show someone that they are right about me."That's not what I thought", I reply. "I thought about how desperate H.Y.D.R.A. had to be to use you as my replacement"i say mockingly, looking her straight in the eyes.
