"Fine, but let's at least wear our comms," Maddie says.
"I'm not even going, so I don't know why I'm here," I added.
"What?! Why?" Maddie ask. It's sad really because I'm so fun at events like this
"Because it's prom. And I'm 30."
"Fine. Wear your comms and stay close, ok"
"Sure". Everybody walked into the rented strip club while I stayed outside, I took out my comms and decided to put them back in my pocket they'll be fine.
I walked off down the street, the street and car lights being the only lighting source. The only reason I came on the ride was to make sure they got their safe everything seemed to be fine. God knows what is happening anyway. I made my way down to a convenience store why not pop in.
I came out the store with a coke and called a taxi, sure they won't need me their basically adults. I called a taxi and left, no one would be stupid enough to pull something and why would Bruce act on something infront of everyone else no way he's not an idiot.
Once I got back I went into my room and collapsed into my bed... jesus was I tired. I'll see them tomorrow I better not be given shit about not keeping my comms in.
