(Y/N) Pov:

A lady in a butterfly-pattern Haori said: "This is the headquarters of the Demon Slayer Crops. You two are on trial right now, Tanjiro Kamado, (Y/N) (L/N)." I blinked a few times, asking: "Wait... Are you all... Are you all Pillars?"

She nodded, a sweet smile on her lips. I froze for a moment. Oh no. What in the world did we do?! I mean, I know what we did, but- "(Y/N)? Hey, what's wrong? Who are these 'Pillars'?" asked Tanjiro, a concerned expression.

I looked to the ground, answering: "They're the strongest of the strong. The nine highest ranking Swordsmen among the Demon Slayers." His eyes widened. I turned to look at Onii-chan, hoping he'd tell them that Nezuko isn't an enemy, that we did nothing wrong.

"There's no need for a trial here! Protecting Demons is clearly a violation of conduct! We can deal with it by ourselves. We'll decapitate every Demon!" noted a man with yellow hair that faded to red.

Another Pillar, with white hair and some strange jewel-thingy on said: "Then let me cut her head off flamboyantly. I'll prove that I can spray the blood more flamboyantly than anyone else. I'll be a flamboyant flamboyance."

The Pillar with black hair and a scar on his forehead started crying, saying: "Ahh, what a shoddy child she is. How sorrowful. It's so sorrowful that she was born into this world."

"Let's kill her." "Yeah." Our eyes widened at that. Tanjiro started looking around, so I quietly said: "Don't worry. She should be fine." He nodded lightly, clear relief showing on his face. "More importantly, what're we gonna do about Tomioka?" asked the man with the snake.

"I have a headache seeing him not bound there. Same with that girl." I glared at him as he continued: "According to Kocho, Tomioka violated Demon Slayer Conduct as well. How will we deal with him? How will we make him take responsibility? How are we gonna make him suffer?"

I stood up, pointing my finger at him accusingly. "I won't allow that! No one gets to hurt Onii-chan when I'm around!" I called, glaring up at him. His eyes widened slightly as I heard a few gasps behind me.

"That's your little sister, Tomioka-san?" asked the Pillar with pink hair. Onii-chan nodded once, not saying anything. After that, the Pillars kept quiet. "I just understood... So he's your brother?" asked Tanjiro, making me nod at him.

The butterfly-lady said: "Well, it's fine, right? Tomioka-san followed me without causing a ruckus. Besides, as long as she's here, he'll be, too." Her smile widened a bit as she gestured towards me. Is she threatening me now? I swear, these Pillars...

"Shinobu." was all that Onii-chan said, sending a glare her way. She chuckled, saying: "I was joking, Tomioka-san! Now, more importantly, I want to hear their story. Let's think of a punishment later."

Tanjiro was about to say something, but had to cough. The butterfly lady said: "Your chin is hurting, so take your time drinking. And please tell me." She held a small bottle towards him, which he drank from.

"There's a painkiller in there, so you will ease up a bit. It's not like it heals your injuries, so don't push yourself." Tanjiro nodded at her, finally able to speak. "My little sister was turned into a Demon. But she has never eaten someone before. Up until now, and from now on, she will never hurt a living person."

I nodded in approval. Nezuko would never do that. The Pillar with the snake said: "Don't spit out stupid rash remarks so recklessly. For starters, of course she's protect her family. I can't trust anything you're saying, and I won't trust them."

"Ah, you're being obsessed with the Demon. Let's kill this pitiful child quickly and release him from suffering." said the one with the scar on his forehead, crying again. Tanjiro called: "Please listen! I became a swordsman to cure Nezuko! It's been two years since Nezuko became a Demon, and in that time, she hasn't eaten a person!"

I said: "It's true! She's been with us from the beginning! Nezuko even fought against Demons with us!" We have to make them understand that Nezuko isn't evil. "Your story is simply going around in circles." stated the one with the jewelry headwrap.

"She hasn't eaten people and she won't eat people from now on. Don't just give lip service, give us a more flamboyant explanation." "Um, but I have a question..." started the pink haired woman. "It doesn't seem like Oyakata-sama has grasped the situation yet. Can we just deal with it on our own like this? We should wait until he arrives..."

Tanjiro got visibly irritated, calling out: "My sister, (Y/N), and I can fight together! We can fight to protect people as Demon Slayer!" "That's right! Thanks to her help, we were able to defeat many Demons before!" I added.

"Whoa, whoa, this got somewhat interesting." said a new voice, belonging to a man with white hair and a crazed look on his face. I gasped as I saw what he held in one of his hands. He held Nezuko's box as if it was nothing of value.

"So you're the idiotic members who brought the Demon. What the hell were you planning to do?" he asked, lifting the box slightly higher. "Please don't act on your own, Shinazugawa-san." noted the butterfly-lady.

He put a hand on his sword, asking: "What's a Demon to you, kiddos? You can fight with it to protect people as Demon Slayers? You see, about that... That's impossible, you moron!" He yelled the last part, suddenly drawing his sword, stabbing the box.

I grit my teeth as I stood up, seeing the blood flow from one of the corners of the box. I didn't need to look at Tanjiro to know what we would do.

We started to dash at him, with Tanjiro yelling: "I will never forgive anybody, Pillar or whatever, who hurts my little sister!" The Pillar just laughed, saying: "That so? Good for you!" I narrowed my eyes on him, picking up my speed.

He pulled his sword out of the box, aiming to strike at us. But I was quicker. He clearly underestimated me. "Stop it! Oyakata-sama is arriving soon!" called Onii-chan, and the other Pillar seemed to hesitate for a mere second.

And that was all the time I needed. While Tanjiro dodged his attack by jumping, I ducked out of the way, snatching his sword out of his hands. Tanjiro managed to land a headbutt, causing the Pillar to fall to the ground, blood already rushing out of his nose. Serves you right.
