(Y/N) Pov:

I let out a gasp as I jumped up, my hand immediately placed on the handle of my sword. My eyes were wide as I looked around, seeing Tanjiro and Nezuko standing, and a bunch of people laying on the ground, seemingly unconscious.

"Bad timing?" I asked, to which Tanjiro chuckled, saying: "Just the right timing, actually." He took my hand and we made our way towards the front of the wagon. Tanjiro opened the door, then quickly held his nose, saying: "It really reeks!"

I tilted my head a little, sniffing the air. I don't smell a thing. Suddenly, Tanjiro climbed onto the roof, saying: "Nezuko, don't come up here! It's dangerous, so just wait and go wake everyone up!" She nodded, doing what she was told.

Tanjiro held a hand out to me, saying: "Here, I'll help you up." I smiled lightly as I took his hand, letting him help me up on the train. He looked towards the front of the train, where I assume the Demon was.

I gently squeezed his hand, saying: "He really is there. I can see him." Nodding, Tanjiro declared: "We'll defeat him and save everyone on this train." "Yes." I told him, grinning as we both started running, heading towards the Demon, who was facing away from us.

Once we were on the same wagon than him, he turned around, saying: "Oh, you two are awake? Good morning. You could've just slept some more." His smile quickly turned into a sinister grin as he let out a chuckle.

"I showed the two of you quite nice dreams there. I could've shown you a dream where both of your families were slaughtered, you know?" he stated. He then faced Tanjiro, saying: "Next time, I should show you a dream where you father came back from the dead." His blue eyes met mine as he continued: "And you... I'll show you a dream in which all of your precious siblings were still alive."

I gritted my teeth as I felt my anger rise. How dare he...! I gripped my sword tightly, my glare directed towards him as Tanjiro said: "Don't thoughtlessly trample your way into people's dreams! I won' forgive you."

I took in a certain breath, concentrating. Breath of water, fourth form, Striking Tide. Tanjiro activated the tenth form, Constant Flux, and we both went to attack together. We rushed towards the Demon, who stretched a hand out to us, a mouth appearing on top of it. With a slight grin, the mouth on the hand said:

"Go to sleep~"

3rd Person Pov:

Tanjiro was quick to recover, having killed himself in his dream immediately. Enmu had to activate his technique multiple times, his eyes slightly widening as he slowly understood what Tanjiro was doing.

(Y/N), however, was laying right in front of the Demon, her sword next to her. She was sleeping, seemingly not being able to break out of the nightmare that Enmu was showing her at the moment.

(Y/N)

"How dare you live on?" asked her precious, older brother. He stared her down with his blue eyes, a look of pure anger in them. "Sh-Shinya-nii..." trailed (Y/N) off, looking at her brother in confusion and fear.

"YOU are the reason I died! I could've ran away easily, but you were just standing there, blocking the goddamned door!" he yelled, causing her to stumble back, tripping over her own feet. But he didn't stop with his cruel, hurtful words.

Instead, the woman with (h/c) hair and blue eyes joined in, staring down at her own daughter. "You're a disgrace. You couldn't even run away on your own. All you do is rely on others to help you. What are you, a damsel in distress? You're weak and a complete waste of life!" she yelled, her stern gaze never lifting off the trembling girl.

"M-Mom..." muttered (Y/N), her (e/c) eyes wide. "Don't call me that, you failure! You're not my daughter anymore! You're mere trash!" "B-But I-" "You can't even say anything without stuttering! Disgusting excuse of a human being!"

"(Y/N)." called a voice she easily recognized. But that didn't ease her worries. She was even more afraid now. What would he say to her? What kind of insult would she get now? Slowly, she looked up at the boy with peach hair, a scar on the side of his face.

He stared down at her, shaking his head, saying: "I saved you because I thought you had potential. Guess that was a waste of time. I never should've saved you in the first place." Her eyes began to water as she quickly covered them, starting to sob.

She knew that this wasn't real. She knew that neither of them would ever call her such things, let alone look at her that way, but still... The words that they spoke hurt, they broke her bit by bit.

"Stand up. You're a hideous creature." Here eyes widened once more at the sudden, new voice. It was deeper than the ones she had heard before. "No." she stated, not wanting to look up at the boar man. "Pathetic." called yet another voice, her heart seemingly squeezing in her chest.

She slowly looked up, the tears flowing down her cheeks uncontrollably. Before her stood all the people she loved, every single one of them. Shinya, her mother, her father, Urokodaki, Sabito, Giyuu, Inosuke, Zenitsu, Nezuko, and Tanjiro.

They were all staring down at her, her breath hitching as she jumped to her feet, throwing her arms around her boyfriend, sobbing again. "Tanjiro, I-I..." she started, but couldn't form a sentence.

"Don't touch me with those filthy hands." he spat, shoving her away from him. She stared at him, feeling her heart shatter in that moment. "You don't deserve the power you hold." said her father, making her look at him, tears still leaking from her eyes.

She was about to break completely, to just lay down and cry for eternity, but a sudden voice stopped her. It called out to her, repeating the words she had heard just moments ago.

"We'll defeat him and save everyone on this train."

"That's... This is a dream." she muttered out, wiping her tears away as she stood up. Within the next moment, she took her sword into her hands, saying: "Wait just a little, Tanjiro. I'm almost there."
