3rd Person Pov:

Jumping onto the root, Genya and Nezuko held on tightly, while Tanjiro kept his distance, wanting to keep (Y/N) safe. "Don't fall off! Come on, come on!" called Genya, clinging onto the rising root like his life depended on it.

He glanced at the sword in his hand, deciding that he wouldn't be able to use it properly. So, instead of that, he bit down on the root, shattering the wood partly. "Genya, your stomach's gonna die! Will you be okay?!" asked Tanjiro, quite taken back by what he was witnessing.

Genya can temporarily gain demonic attributes by eating a Demon. And if he eats a strong one, he gains regeneration and muscular strength equal to the Demon'. He has no physical talent, and he can't use breaths, so he resorted to desperation to reach the Hashira's level.

But this isn't something any ordinary person could do. Genya has a special ability. For a short amount of time, he can become a Demon using his bite strength and his special digestive organs. It's a unique talent among the Demon Slayers.

And not long after, he had successfully bitten through the roots, causing the whole thing to fall over. While Tanjiro grabbed his sword, Nezuko threw a bit of her own blood over the root, activating her Blood Demon Art, causing her blood to ignite the root in a bright, beautiful fire.

With a few, simple movements of his, Tanjiro had managed to slice through the root, granting Genya access to the tiny Demon hiding in it. Genya was ready, his sword already aimed at the cut root. But the Demon wasn't there.

Gritting his teeth, Genya yelled: "You little piece of shit! Stop running away!" "Don't run from your responsibilities! Every sin you've committed, every evil deed, I will make you take responsibility for everything You can't escape from this!" yelled Tanjiro after him, being able to barely see the tiny Demon in the distance.

Having finally had enough, Genya ripped a whole tree out of the ground, yelling: "Cut it out, you dipshit!" while throwing the tree at the Demon, continuing to yell. "Gaaah! Cut the crap out and die! Read! The mood!" He threw two other trees, much to Tanjiro's horror.

With that, Genya had managed to trap the Demon for a short while. Just enough time for Nezuko to act. She jumped towards him, trying her best to slice the Demon with her claws. However, she only managed to inflict minimum damage, much to her disliking.

Immediately running after the Demon, the two Demon Slayers and Nezuko tried to keep up with him, but he was simply too fast. "He's fast! The fuck is up with this guy, dammit?! I can't keep up!" complained Genya, basically voicing all of their thoughts, just in his own words.

Tanjiro desperately wanted to follow the Demon, but his leg suddenly stung, and he couldn't continue. Then, he got an idea. He glanced back at his unconscious girlfriend, remembering something that a friend of theirs had told her, which Tanjiro had happened to overhear.

While trying to learn even more breathing techniques, (Y/N) had asked their two friends about their techniques. While Inosuke had declined to teach her rather quickly, Zenitsu was, of course, happy to share anything with her.

'The Breath of Thunder makes you focus on your legs the most. So like, it's surprisingly hard to grasp. The size of every muscle you have. But once you grasp it, you can go into full focus mode. My old man said that a lot. Every fiber of your muscle, every vessel of blood, get air pumping through them. Then, put all the power into your legs. All of it. Then explode in a second. Like lightning ripping through the air.'

That's what Zenitsu had said. Thinking quickly, Tanjiro called: "Nezuko, take care of (Y/N) real quick!" His sister hurried towards him, immediately taking the female Demon Slayer off his back. And in the very next second, Tanjiro took in a deep breath, concentrating on the movement of his legs.

Within a short moment, he had managed to dash forwards at an incredible speed, managing to catch up to the tiny Demon without hesitation. He had grabbed his sword, slicing into the neck of mentioned Demon, ready to behead it any second now.

"Heeeeey... I am pitiful. Can't you see that?!" asked the Demon, suddenly incredibly tall. He easily got a hold on Tanjiro's head, wanting to crush his skull. "Don't bully the weak!" yelled the Demon, glaring at the poor Demon Slayer in his grasp.

To release some of the pressure that was currently being added onto Tanjiro's head, Genya tried to rip the Demon's hand away. While he did that, he yelled: "Your logic is all fucked up, you dumb shit!"

Letting out an ear-defeaning scream, the Demon failed to notice Nezuko above him. She held one of her arms out towards the Demon, while using the other to hold onto (Y/N). She managed to hit the Demon with a few drips of her blood, causing him to go up in flames.

The Demon stumbled back, falling off a cliff together with Nezuko. She managed to push the unconscious Demon Slayer away from her, saving her from the fall in the last second. Tanjiro fell, too, but luckily got stopped by a branch that was growing out of the side of the cliff.

Genya, who had rushed towards (Y/N) to protect her, called after the other two. "Tanjiro, Nezuko!" Slowly getting up, their enemy didn't even try to remove the sword stuck in the side of his neck. He simply walked away from an unconscious Nezuko, spotting humans in the distance.

"Hold it." said Tanjiro, to which the Demon turned his head a little, glancing back at the badly beaten Demon Slayer. "You're not getting away... I will chase you down to the depths of hell and cut your head off." threatened Tanjiro, venom dripping from every word he spoke.

A bit intimidated, the Demon quickly diverted his attention back to the humans in the distance. He began to run, planning to eat those humans in order to gain his regeneration ability back that Nezuko hindered with her ability.

Tanjiro managed to free himself from the branch, trying to use the same technique he used earlier to catch up to the Demon. Genya, thinking quickly, noticed that (Y/N) had her sword with her. So, he threw it towards Tanjiro, calling: "You better make good use of that sword, Tanjiro!"

"That's (Y/N)'s... Thanks, Genya!" replied Tanjiro, grabbing the sword and taking in a certain, deep breath. With all of his strength, he rushed forwards like he did once before, this time easily cutting through the Demon's neck.

While he did behead the Demon, he noticed that the sun was starting to rise. So, Tanjiro spun around, running towards his sister as fast as he could, desperately wanting to call out to her, but finding himself unable to do so.
