𝕭𝖔𝖓𝖉𝖘 [Tanjiro Kamado X Reader] (Kimetsu no Yaiba)

~chapter sixty-one~

3rd Person Pov:

"Found it! The hole to the Demon's nest! I'm feeling the tingles, there's a demon here!" called Inosuke, having found one of the entrances to the demon's nest. It was underneath the wooden floor, which he had easily broken.

Grinning underneath his mask, he jumped head first into the hole, but he obviously didn't fit in it. He pulled his head back out, saying. "So I can only get my head in there, huh? How naive. Nothing can stop the great Inosuke-sama."

His joints began cracking as he said: "I am the man who can dislodge every joint in his body! If I can get my head in there, I can go anywhere." Just a second later, he was slithering through the tunnel like a snake. All the while, he was laughing, calling out: "Pig assault! Nobody can stop me!"

It didn't even take him longer than a minute to get to the demon's nest. There, he saw a lot of cloth hanging around, with a bunch of humans as pattern. Confused, he began popping his joints back in place, realizing that these were real human beings.

He even saw one of his friends, Zenitsu, trapped inside the obi. "And what are you doing? You're entering someone else's storehouse. Dirty, so dirty, dirty, maggot!" called someone else, causing Inosuke to spin around to face them.

It was some sort of living cloth, with eyes and a mouth. Irritated, Inosuke began dodging the strange being's attacks, yelling: "You keep squirming and squirming. You're just a gross maggot sash!"

The worm-thing tried to attack him once more, but he easily dodged, then cut through the obi that contained the humans. "Looks like someone got greedy and captured too many humans! You attack like a fat maggot. You're no match for Inosuke-sama! Get your act together, then come at me again!" he yelled, freeing human after human.

The obi with eyes had an internal conversation with Daki, who told it to capture Inosuke alive, since he was pretty. Daki also said to eat some of those humans in order to gain strength.

As Inosuke tried to cut the obi down, the obi simply bent with the sword, making it impossible for him to cut. The obi moved quickly, about to cut his head, but Inosuke bent backwards, letting go of his swords in the process.

He kicked both of his swords up, catching them immediately again. He took in a certain breath, releasing the Beast Breathing, sixth style, Palisade Bite. However, the obi backed off slightly, causing Inosuke to miss his attack.

The obi spoke up. "There's no point in cutting me. I'm not the 'real body', after all. But more importantly, you worked so hard to save those girls. You sure it's okay to neglect them? I can immediately regain the strength I lost from getting hit by you."

Inosuke's eyes widened as parts of the obi were about to harm the people he had just rescued. Suddenly, kunai's were thrown at the obi, pinning it to the ground before it could harm anyone.

"'Maggot sash', huh? Couldn't have put it better myself!" called a woman with black hair, her bangs being yellow. Next to her stood a black haired woman with blue eyes, a terrified expression on her face.

She had tears in her eyes, saying: "That thing is so gross. You are so right. I'm telling Tengen-sama!" Makio, the woman with two hair colors, grinned, fighting off the obi that tried to kill the unconscious women together with Suma.

"We'll back you up, so good luck there, boar head!" called Makio. Inosuke, not quite getting what was going on, asked: "Who the hell are you guys?!" Suma cut through parts of the obi, answering: "We're Uzui's wives! But I can't fight very well. So don't expect too much from me!"

Makio yelled: "Suma! Stop acting like a weakling!" "But, but, Makio-san, you know I'm just a worthless loser, right?! And I got captured right away! I can't protect all these captured people! I'm probably going to be the first to die!" called Suma, crying.

The obi said: "That's right. You get it. Now, who should I go for first?" Inosuke got back to fighting, saying: "That's not it's real body? If that's true, then this is bad. This fight's never gonna end!"

Then, someone was jumping incredibly fast through the air, cutting the obi into pieces. That person landed next to Inosuke, releasing a breath. Inosuke stared at his friend with wide eyes, saying: "You should just stay asleep forever, man..."

It was Zenitsu. He was still unconscious, but that's the best thing that could've happened, to be honest. The ceiling suddenly broke, and a gust of wind made its way through the demon's nest.

Another person managed to make their way down into the nest, their weapons ready to kill whatever he was facing. Within seconds, he had cut a bunch of obi parts.

"Tengen-sama..." trailed Makio off, looking at her husband with clear relief. He said: "Makio, Suma, sorry for being late. Time to put on a real flamboyant show."

(Y/N) Pov:

"Yeah, a Hashira, huh. Goof thing a Hashira came. That person will be pleased..." said the demon, her hair turning from black to white with green tips. Hashira? That means that Uzui-san has finally began fighting!

"Hey, what are you doing there?!" asked a man, probably owning one of the houses we were fighting in front of. "I-I'm really sorry, we were just-" I tried, but he cut me off by yelling: "Don't go arguing in front of other people's stores!"

"No, get away from here! Don't leave the building!" yelled Tanjiro, but it was already too late. He moved quickly, guarding the man with his body.

My eyes widened at everything around me. The demon... She destroyed parts of the houses, killing a lot of people. And she even cut Tanjiro's chest, along with that man's arm.

People were screaming left and right, and the blood was everywhere. My body began shaking. Not in fear, no. But in anger. There was no reason for her to kill all these people. There was not a single reason.

I jumped onto the roof, right behind her, taking in a sharp, deep breath. Moon Breathing, sixth form, Lonely Moon. It was like my body moved on its own. Like my sword took full control of my movements and senses.

A bunch of crescent-shaped slashes were formed by my sword, all aimed at the demon. She had wide eyes as she tried to dodge. However, she failed partly, causing her to lose an arm.

I stared at her, saying: "How dare you pull innocent bystanders into this. You'll pay. It's unforgivable." She regenerated her arm, and the few slices I had caused, saying: "I see. That blood runs through your veins. Seems like I can't let you live any longer, huh. I'll kill you right here and now, (L/N)."
