"Here, my sunscreen too" Drishti said and handed over her sunscreen to Shravan who was packing their over night bag.

"Anything else Drishti? I'm going to close the bag" Shravan said double checking the items in the bag.

"I think I have covered it all. If there is anything missing, we can get it there right?" Drishti asked

"Yeah. Let's get going" Shravan said

"Yay. Finally! After a month of tortures and miseries, I'm getting the much needed break" Drishti said dramatically and Shravan rolled his eyes.

Her exams got over that afternoon and Shravan suggested a small weekend trip, much to Drishti's excitement. They were going to the SM resort an hour away from Bangalore city. The last time, they planned this trip, it got cancelled as his mother planned a reception party for them.

So Shravan, though had a plan in his mind on taking Drishti for a weekend stay, didn't discuss with her about it. He just told her that they are going for a weekend trip after she came back from her exams.

"I can't wait. It's been so long since I did surfing" Drishti squealed as she skipped towards their car.

"What do you mean by surfing is not allowed?" Drishti asked in outrage

"The tides are too high Drishti. So the life guards won't allow you to get out into the sea" Shravan said

"But you own the resort. Why would you need his permission" Drishti asked

"It's not about the permission Drishti. It's about the safety. It's dangerous to get into the sea now" Shravan said patiently.

"I'm a champion swimmer Shravan. I won the gold medal for swimming at inter state senior school level sports meet. I can handle the tides" Drishti said

"Swimming in a pool and winning a medal is different from surfing during a high tide Drishti. Try to understand" Shravan said

Drishti huffed in annoyance and turned on her heels and walked away from him.

After forty minutes of searching Shravan found Drishti in a secluded corner of the resort, sitting under the shadow of a huge tree and playing Abhay's newly released mobile phone game.

"Drishti. I have been searching for you everywhere. Why did you go off like that" Shravan asked as he sat next to her.

Drishti huffed and continued playing the game.

"Come on Drishti. I didn't let you into the water because I'm worried about your safety. I'm worried about your safety because I love you" Shravan said

Drishti grinned

"I just love hearing you say that. Now say once more" Drishti demanded keeping her phone aside

Shravan rolled his eyes

"Come on. Say it" Drishti demanded again

"I love you Drishti Maheswari" Shravan said and tweaked her nose lightly

"Once more"

Shravan looked heavenwards

"Why am I in love with this girl?" He asked looking heavenwards earning a punch from Drishti.
