38 | Fight Till The End

[ Guess who's birthday is it? :D I decided to release chapter 38 on my birthday, so enjoy! ] 

"Shu!" Y/N gasped as she stared at his cracked bey. Shu said nothing. He wasn't even looking at the (h/c) haired girl. "Was this during your battle with Wakyia?" The albino continued to stay silent. "What are you gonna do against Lui?" At that, the crimson eyes of the blader sharpened. He turned his head towards her and a shiver ran down the girl's spine. 
"I'm going to win, and meet you at the finals, don't you dare lose to Valt" Shu's voice was a bit stern, and Y/N flinched a little bit, but she understood. The (h/c) haired girl nodded and Shu turned and walked away. 

Sometimes it's hard to understand someone, and Shu is unreadable. But you could tell he was unhappy about what happened, which means he's not in good shape to go up against Lui. Y/N really wanted to find a way to help, but this was something Shu was mending with. Her (e/c) eyes blinked as she watched the albino disappeared. 

"HEY!" Someone yelled from behind her. Y/N yelped in surprise and fell forward. She balanced herself again and sighed, catching her breath. Once she calmed down, Y/N whipped around to see a familiar blue-haired boy smiling at her. 
"Valt? What are you doing here?" The girl asked. The blue-haired blader's smile widened and stuck out his hand for Y/N to shake. 
"Best of luck to you tomorrow, may the best blader win!" He exclaimed. Y/N made an 'o' with her mouth before smiling. She chuckled and took Valt's hand, they both shook hands for a good couple of seconds. 
"Good luck to you too" Inside, she was getting pretty nervous. Valt was a very strong blader, and someone she needed to beat to be able to get a shot at beating Shu and Lui. sorry Valt, but I'm the one that's going to beat Shu, not you. Y/N thought to herself as she let go of his hand. 

"Let it rip!" Y/N yelled as she launched her bey into the stadium. It's been about an hour of training, and she was sweating tired. Her launches were getting sloppier by the second because she was pretty beat. The girl sighed and stood back up, using a towel to wipe the sweat off her face. This will never do. She told herself. I need to get stronger, or I'll never beat Valt. His battle style sure was interesting, I'll give him that. Y/N let out a big sigh and flopped onto the floor. Ukyo and Ren were out for dinner with their friends, so Y/N was all alone at home. 
"Don't overdo it, remember your wrist" A familiar voice came from behind. Y/N blinked and rubbed her eyes to make sure she wasn't seeing and hearing things. She turned around to see Shu's eyes just over her fence. 
"Shu?!" Y/N exclaimed in disbelief. Without the girl's permission, he managed to jump over the fence. He landed on the other side just in front of Y/N. "My wrist is as good as new" She assured him. "What about spryzen?" Shu frowned. 
"I'll figure something out," He said as he looked up at the sky. "I don't go down without a fight" Y/N chuckled at this, earning a confused look from Shu. 
"I worried for nothing then" She giggled. The crimson-eyed blader blushed when she giggled, then shook his head quite quickly. He bends down and touches Tsunami.
"You should really give it a rest" Shu commented. "You need the strength to beat Valt, you know"
"And don't worry about me, I will beat Lui" His voice was stern, knowing Y/N was just about to ask that.  

"I always fight to the end"

Short chapter! I have plans for next chapter, so it will be longer :D
