41 | Win for me, okay?

[ Andddd we're back! School has been hella hard these days, I have so many tests, like why ;-; ]

"Look out folks! The battle against Shu and Lui is about to begin!" The commentator screamed through the microphone and over the roaring crowd. Lui looked exactly how Y/N remembered, blue, flame-like hair with clothing to match it. He had a large, cocky smile on his face, his sharp teeth showing.
"Well, Well, Well, Shu Kurenai is back for another humiliation it seems? How cute, but I'll wipe the floor with you!" Lui laughed. Y/N saw Shu's expression change, his expression dropped, there was anger in his eyes, he was definitely intimidated. Calm down, Shu... The (h/c) haired girl begged in her mind, or you lose before it even started.
"Ready? Set!"
Right on the mark, Shu turned his wrist to a backhand launch. Y/N watched and held her breath as both bladers began to count down.
"3!"

"2!"

"1!"

"Let it rip!" Both bladers launched their beys into the stadium at the exact same time.
"And off they go, folks! Hang on tight! This match will determine the winner!"

It's been 5 matches. And they've been going at it. Tie after tie, the battle seemed endless, but Y/N was still rooting for Shu, a sweat tear rolled down her cheek. The score was 1-1. The (h/c) haired girl clutched her fists as the whole crowd held their breath. Spryzen slammed right into Luinor and both beys continued to clash and sparks began to fly. There was so much going on in the stadium that you couldn't even see who was winning the match. You could slightly feel the ground rumbling under you as both bladers had a glowing aura surrounding them. Both beys launched each other to opposite sides of the stadium and started circling around one another once again.
"Upper crash!" Shu called as his bey swung back around to attack Luinor.

He's getting a bit frustrated, and angry. Y/N noticed, nervously biting her lip as a sweat tear rolled down her cheek.
"This isn't looking too good, he's losing his cool" Ren, who was beside her observed, putting his hand under his chin. Y/N nodded in agreement. The two beys continued going at it, soon enough, both beys began losing stamina.
"Luinor! Show Spryzen what it's up against!" Lui cackled as his bey swung back around to attack Spryzen.
"He shouldn't take the hit, he doesn't have enough power at this point to counter it!" Ren exclaimed. But the fire burning in Shu is now more ambition to teach Lui and lesson rather than win, so the albino wasn't even thinking about it.
"Counter it! Spryzen!"

Luinor ran right through Spryzen faster than anyone could see, and it burst. Ren clapped a hand over his mouth as Y/N looked closer. Shu had lost, and even worse, Lui managed to slip Spryzen down the middle. The albino looked shocked and devastated, sweat was already running down his face. His bey's pieces were flying in the air, soon falling right in the center of the stadium, where Luinor was still going strong, circling the broken bey. It was over. Y/N wasn't facing Shu in the finals, rather, Lui.

"Shu!" Y/N looked around desperately for the albino outside. The sun was already down, and thankfully, she spotted the snow-head sitting on the stairs, looking up into the night sky. "There you are" She sighed in relief as she took a seat next to him. Shu didn't reply. He was staring down at Spryzen, now broken in half. "Hey, it wasn't your fault, Spryzen has cracked already, that was a pretty brutal battle" Shu clutched his fist in frustration more than anger, he gripped Spryzen tightly.

"I'm sorry... I didn't perform well, and I lost to Lui, again" Shu's voice was full of disappointment. "But hey... this means I still have a ways to go" His crimson eyes met her (e/c) ones, a small and weak smile appeared on his face. "Win for me, okay?" Y/N's mouth made an 'o' before giving him a small nudge, using her hand to ruffle his hair, causing him to chuckle.
"Yeah, I will, and we'll battle again on the world stage" She put her hand out, and Shu gladly took it. Both bladers shook hands. The albino chuckled.
"The moon sure is beautiful tonight, isn't it?"

This book will have a total of 45 chapters, including the epilogue, so Lovely Moonlight is slowly coming to a close, but do not worry! We will have a fresh start! There will be a book two after this, and possibly a book three...?
