2.2 || We Are Stronger Combined

"Well, you see.." Allistor started. Ryu looked away. "You guys know us as the four strongest bladers from DC Ruby, but the truth is, our title was slowly slipping." Y/N tilted her head. 
"What?" Ryu continued to avoid her gaze. Did something happen to Ryu? Or to all of them? 
"It's recruiting season, and well, new bladers joined our club, and they were strong" He continued in a low and slow voice. "You'd think we would be happy, DC Ruby is getting stronger and stronger, we were thriving, but really" He snatched the back of his neck. 
"They overwhelmed us, we didn't feel like we could improve around the new bladers" Alexis continued for Allistor. "Not to mention they were stubborn and hard to work with, their egos are so big, we couldn't take it anymore, our leader was so blinded by the amount of strength they held, he forgot about us" They all looked at Ryu, who still looked away. 
"Ryu took it the hardest, it was our owner who took him in as a child," Haruko saw the two blader's gazes and quickly added. "We are still a part of DC Ruby as of now, we are looking at the team here, we're not sure how to tell the owner if we want to transfer" they all stared at the ground. 

"Well, if you do decide to join, tryouts are tomorrow, right? Plus, we were scouted to join this team as well, we would be able to learn from each other and become an unstoppable team!" Ren announced proudly. The four looked up and exchanged looks, a smile slowly appearing on their faces. "And don't worry about not being able to tell your owner, you can always talk to the owner of BC Sol to do it for you, or we can go with you" Ren smiled. Y/N agreed with her friend. New bladers would make BC Sol stronger, not to mention they were the Ruby Four. Well, maybe they used to. 
"That's reassuring" Allistor beamed. Y/N checked her watch. 
"We should really get going, it's almost time for us to arrive at BC Sol, come with us!" She offered. "We can introduce you to the owner if you'd like" Ryu didn't hesitate to walk towards them. 
"I'm in" 
"Well, we always stick together, so if Ryu is going, we are too" Alexis announced. The (h/c) haired girl clapped her hands together. 
"Great! Let's go!"

They arrived at 6:00 on the dot, right on time. There was a maroon-ish-haired young lady standing at the gate waving at them. 
"Welcome to BC Sol, you're Y/N and Ren, right? Where is Valt?" the two bladers exchanged looks. 
"He didn't come with us, he's not here yet?" The lady shook her head. 
"Oh! I forgot to introduce myself, I'm Kris, the owner of BC Sol" She stuck her hand out for the two bladers to shake. Kris noticed the four bladers behind them instantly. "Wait, aren't you guys from DC Ruby?" Ryu lightly chuckled and snatched the back of his neck nervously. 
"Yes, but they are actually looking into joining this team,"

Y/N explained their situation to Kris, and she continued to nod and think. 
"Mhm.. I see" She finally spoke. "Well, you are welcome to join us, I don't require you to try out tomorrow, I've seen your blading ability during tournaments, and I am very excited that you want to join my team" The ruby members exchanged excited looks and cheered.  "and don't worry, I will contact Mr.Chang for you, I will explain everything to the owner" She continued. Ryu nodded in thanks. "The bladers are actually training right now, but we have Honey here to show you your rooms, don't worry we have extra dorms for you four back there" There was a short kid who appeared from behind Kris. She had blue hair and hair clips. "her sister is a member here at BC Sol" She explained. 
"They way!" The girl announced happily.

"Whoa" Allistor exclaimed looking around the hall. "it's fancier in here than I thought!" He commented. y/n too was astonished. It was beautiful. 
"This is where we'll be huh?" Ren elbowed his best friend. "I must say I'm impressed" The (e/c) eyed girl nodded in agreement, admiring the courtyard outside through the window, and the lights, the paintings, everything. Honey paused in front of a dorm door. 
"This room can fit three, so you three girls can share a dorm" The little girl explained. "And the door just down the hall on the same side," She pointed down the hallway. "Is for the boys, bathrooms are on the right side of the hall, and the eating hall is just down there" She quickly explained. "Well, make you're at home!" Then she skipped away, leaving the six of them astonished. 
"Well, this is it, huh?" Ryu put his hands on his hips happily. "This is a new start, for all of us" Y/N nodded. The boy from DC Ruby lifted his hand into the air for everyone to high-five. "We are our own team of unstoppable bladers!" He announced proudly. Ren laughed in amusement and the others grinned. All the bladers high-fived Ryu and cheered as well. 

"Out of the way" A quiet but stern voice came from behind them. They turned around and Y/N froze. That's..impossible, it can't be. After all this time. She turned her head a little bit to see Ren also frozen. The boy in front of them widened his eyes a little bit. 
"Y/N? Ren?"
