2.18 | RUBY FOUR : ALEXIS

The night seemed so long, the starry sky, the moonlight coming into the room and shined against the brown wooden cabinets. The bed did not even creak, even when she shifts in her sleep, it did not dare make a noise. This was the best sleep (y/n) has had for a very long time. She was grateful for everything, and the way things played out for her, especially with her relationship with a certain albino. The birds outside chirped ever so gently, like they were singing a lullaby for her. There were two beds to her left, three in total, each bed had two people on them, and Ren slept on the floor. (y/n) had the window bed to herself, the moon rays did not bother her at all, in fact, she enjoyed it. The streets outside were empty, you could even hear the street lights flicker and the birds chirping. A few cars would drive by the street their hotel was on here and there, but that was about it. On a street close for the Raging Bull's center, was a small house, it was the only house that had a light on. Through the window, a certain albino was looking out to the starry sky. He sighs to himself as he counted the stars, the moon light making his snow white hair seem like it is glowing. Eventually due to the cold wind he had to close his window and go back inside to his home. He sits down as he lights a fireplace and sits in front of the TV while playing his old highlights from nationals. The albino smiles to himself as he watched all those memories from when they were still in Japan. Shu gently sets down his hot coco cup, which was still fresh and warm, steam rising gently from the cup. Shu stands up nad folds his arms, watching the highlights. It wasn't just his highlights, it was hers too. Back during the national team tournament, when (y/n) was on a different team. Shu smiles to himself softly. He has never met a rival like her. He sits back down on his couch and crossed his legs, folding his arms over his chest. Will it all possibly replay? During the upcoming world league. There were on opposing teams once again. Maybe it will all go down the way it had back in Japan... possibly. Shu shakes his head of the thought. "I'll bring everything I got." He murmured to himself. "We'll give everyone quite the show."

The world league was edging closer. Free still had yet to choose his team members, four other people, including one substitute. This thought bothered (y/n). Who would they choose? There were many talented bladers on BC Sol, and they could only pick 4 other people. She tosses and turns in her sleep until morning.

The girl wakes up to the sound of happy birds and yellow sunlight shining through the window into her eyes. She flinched a little before she slowly sat up in her bed. (y/n) yawns as she stretched her limbs, hopping down from her bed to see the others already awake. Allistor and Ryu were both cleaning their beys while Alexis and Haru were both talking to one another, and Ren... was still on the floor. (y/n) looked around for a certain blonde haired emotionless boy. "Where's.... Free?" She asked curiously. Allistor doesn't turn from cleaning his bey.
"He left early, said the owner of the Raging Bulls wanted to talk to him." Ren sits up and rubbed his head, one eye closed as he yawns.
"Again? Didn't he want to talk to Free yesterday?" (y/n) nods in agreement at Ren's statement. Mr.Glass really wants to convince Free to join his team huh. (y/n) looked around before she opens the curtains to let the light in.
"Yeah." Ryu continued as he wiped his bey. "Theodore pulled me aside too." All of them turned their head in surprise, even Allistor looked up at him.
"What? Really?" Ren blinks, surprised. Ryu nods his head slowly and silently.
"Yeah, he gave me the same talk as Free. Honestly, I told him the Raging Bulls just wasn't the place for me, not my style." The boy rolled his eyes at the thought. "He talked a lot about strength, and how their team was stronger and could offer me more." Haru looked in disbelief. Alexis puts her hands on her hips as Ren stands up from the floor.
"That's really funny," Ren muttered. "Bc Sol wasn't the same since they last fought them." Allistor nods slowly before turing to Ryu.
"Anyways, it's our last day here, any plans?" Ryu looks around to see the others. Alexis exchanged a strange look with Allistor, who nods his head to her seriously. (y/n) noticed this and was confused as Alexis walked towards her and takes her arm.
"I'm going shopping, wanna come with me (y/n)?" The girl hesitated. She was planning to hang out with Shu today. SHe looks at Allistor who was giving her a expression she couldn't read. Eventually she just sighs.
"Of course, I'll come." (y/n) smiles at them. Alexis smiles at her.
"Amazing." She says. "Now chop chop, before the lines in the store get too long!!" Allistor nods his head and nudged Ryu who was still looking at his bey, Ryu jumps at the contact.
"Ah- Yeah, have fun you two!"

- (earlier this morning...)

Allistor and Alexis were the only ones awake at this time. He pulled her aside.
"You heard about my coaching session with (y/n)?" He says with a low voice to avoid waking anyone up. Alexis raised a brow and nods her head slowly.
"Yes... what about it?" Allistor sighs.
"I think she's a great blader, however, there is still things she can learn, and I just think she could use maybe a lesson from every four of us." Alexis caught on quickly, she tilts her head.
"So you want me to help her too.?" The girl finishes. Allistor nods his head.
"You seem to know a lot about confidence, and I think (y/n) could benefit from that." Alexis looked thoughtful, before nodding.
"Alright, I'll give it a go."

The street was lively we Alexis and (y/n) ran down the streets of America, Alexis was pulling her into every other shop and scanning everything like it was her first time seeing those items ever. They then stopped at a jewelry store and picked out a couple things they wanted to buy. Alexis nudged (y/n) forward.
"Come on! You call the cashier." (y/n) eyes widened and shook her head quickly.
"What?! No no no... I can't-"
"Scared?" Alexis smirked. She laughs out loud. "Come on, try." (y/n) looked quite nervous. She wasn't too good at talking to random strangers usually. The girl took a deep breath before walking to the counter, she turns her head to look at Alexis one last time with a look asking for help. Alexis only shook her head and smiled, giving her a thumbs up.

Eventually the cashier came and they paid for their belongings. Alexis smiles and nudged her as they walked out of the store. "See? That's not bad!" She exclaims as she leaps onto an elevated spot on the street and tried to balance on it like a balance beam. (y/n) sighs.

Throughout the whole day, anything that required speaking or anything along the lines of interaction, Alexis made (y/n) do it. After a while it made the girl a little bit more comfortable with it, they even battled a couple of people here and there. (y/n) couldn't explain it, but when she battled she felt... different. Like her mind believed she would win, it was just more than determination this time. It was now just after lunch as they walked back to the hotel, during their walk Alexis nudged her with a smile. "Feel better?" (y/n) nods her head slowly, before a thought lingered in her mind. She turns her head to the girl. "Can I ask why you did all this today?" Alexis then stops walking, she stands up on the bench and smiles down at her. 

"Because you need to learn to be more confident with yourself! Believe in yourself." Alexis smiles widely. (y/n) looked quite surprised, her eyes widened. 
"So this whole thing... was planned??" Alexis grinned playfully. 
"Pretty much! If I told you it would've ended differently. How do you feel now?" (y/n) regained her composure, she looked thoughtful. She had to admit ever since she got to Spain it wasn't the same, she didn't believe in herself as much due to being surrounded by so many powerful bladers and rivals. But after today she felt calmer... and better. 
"Amazing, I feel like myself again, thank you so much" She breathed. Alexis smiles before hopping down from bench. 
"I'm glad."
