Epilogue

They say things come out great when you wait for them.

I guess that was true though.

Well, she didn't wait for it. No–wait scratch that. She waited for it without her knowing. Love came to her when she least expected it.

My boss and I just brought it to her sooner than expected.

Hindi din ako nagsisisi sa ginawa ko. Dahil alam kong may maganda naman 'yung patutunguhan.

Who am I, you asked?

I'm the one behind the pictures of Saint Chikaz regarding Rahi and Marceline.

Hindi ko naman talaga intensyong gawin 'yun, but someone got bored and asked me a favor. Wala din naman akong ginagawa noon na exciting, so I agree. Why not do some fun thing for a change?

And look where did that photographs brought them. It wasn't just the photographs, noong sa Presty's, the first night that they really interacted with each other. It was just purely coincident na nandon din ako, taking a walk around the City for a night photography. Then noong sa school na, kinabukasan. It was fun though.

The time when Rahi and her friends went out for an outing to Yoj Acero's inland resort. Sinundan ko sila. It felt like I was a fucking paparazzi. I was the one who took the picture. Dianne Hall giving flowers to Rahi was my boss' idea, down to Roxanne bidding for Rahi during the auction. Natawa nalang ako when I asked them to do me a favor, pareho talaga sila ng reaction.

Kilala mo ba ang girlfriend niya, ha? Was their words. Takot lang talaga sila sa mataray na diyosa ng Grade 12. Those actions were just the major stuffs.

It was a success, since I could see how happy they are right now.

Rahi and Marceline glances at each other, their smiles, the way they act so in love with each other. They compliment each other.

They're both love sick and they looked cute.

I think my boss is having fun playing Cupid for them. I did too, since I did most of the legwork. Tsk. Pasalamat siya hindi ko siya matiis. Kami lang talaga 'yung nag provoke dahil sa mga pictures, it was both of them that made it work. 

"Kienna!" Napalingon ako sa tumawag, and I immediately smiled dahil si boss pala. Nakikita kong masaya din talaga siya sa naging resulta ng ginawa namin. 

"Ikaw pala." Ngumiti siya ng tipid, tumabi siya sa'kin sa isang bench na malapit sa gym. It was our Seniors graduation, and I'm here to take one last picture for Rahi and Marceline for Saint Chikaz.

They started with that, and my boss wanted to end it at Saint Chikaz as a commemoration.

"Ano? Ipagpapatuloy mo pa ba ang pagiging Cupid mo?" Tanong ko sabay sulyap sa kanya.

Ngumiti siya, nabigla ako dahil her smile displays a mischief one. Halatang may binabalak pa eh.

"This will be it." Sabi niya at tumayo. Napatingala ako sa kanya, mabilis siyang sumulyap sa'kin.

"For now." Bulong niya at umalis agad. Hindi ko talaga siya ma gets. Pabago bago ng decision sa buhay. Siguro 'yun ang nagpapanatag sa kanya.

Nakita kong lumabas na ang grupo nila Rahi, kasama niya si Marceline. Mabilis akong tumayo at nagpunta sa kanila in which they haven't noticed me yet.

I took a picture of them using my camera. Ngumiti ako as I reviewed it.

"Looks good." Sabi ko and I admired the photo. Bukod sa magandang kuha ko, magaganda din sila eh.
