THE NEXT MORNING, after having breakfast with Kate, Alex and Ana were surprised to find Leo and his Mom Adriana in one of the rooms in the hospital.

Adriana was still asleep and in shock from when she fainted yesterday.

Alex and Ana hugged Leo, who was crying and they all comforted each other.

Then Alex, Ana and Leo went walking to school.

As they approached the ship of the school, they saw that their whole class was already having lunch out on the lunch tables on the deck of the ship.

As they got closer, everyone sitting at the tables turned their heads to look at them and started staring at them.

Yumi saw them coming over and she quickly got up from the table and went over to greet them.

They saw Yumi running up to them.

Yumi got to Ana and hugged her.

"Hi!" said Yumi enthusiastically hugging Ana tightly.

"It's good to see you guys." said Yumi and then she hugged Alex and Leo.

"You too." said Alex.

Then Yumi noticed everyone else sitting at the tables staring at them and got upset at them.

Then she turned and addressed all of the starers saying—

—"What are you all staring at!? Eat your fish!"

Everyone looked away, which made Alex slightly smirk.

They all walked back together and sat down at the table, except for Ana, who went toward the stairs that led into the ship.

"I need to go check on something." said Ana walking away as Alex, Yumi and Leo watched her go.

Ana went down the stairs and down a hallway into a bathroom.

She went into a stall and sat down.

She took out her locket and opened it.

Her and Alex's lockets were small and round with a silver chain.

Their first names were etched on the outside of the lockets.

Inside the locket next to the picture was a small mirror.

Ana tried to remove the mirror, but it was stuck tightly.

Then she took out the picture of her family and looked on the back of it.

The back of the picture was blank, except for a bunch of random numbers and letters having to do with the roll of film that the picture was from.

Ana read the numbers 4659 7976 2941 WS.

Ana thought about her Mom grabbing onto her locket before she died and wondered if there was any significance in that.

She wondered if her Mom was trying to tell her something, or if she was just reaching to grab her and cling to the life she had left.
