ON THE NIGHT ALEX AND ANA WERE BEING TAKEN TO THE JAIL, Judith was being taken away by Mason.

As Mason was about to take Judith away, he heard Judith say to Alex—

—"Alex! Alex, I love you!"

Mason stopped and looked at Judith surprised by what he heard her say.

Then Mason looked back at Alex and heard him say—

—"I know, Judith."

'Mason was not happy to hear that.' would be an understatement.

Mason grabbed Judith's arm forcefully and pulled her away.

Mason started walking Judith toward a golf cart to drive back home while telling her—

—"I'm sorry, I didn't quite hear that. What did you say to him?"

"It's true. I love him. And he loves me."

Judith felt that he was being genuine in asking and so she answered—

—"Because he's a good person. Because he accepted me for who I am in spite of everything about me. Who I am, where I'm from, who my family is. He cared about me and helped me when I thought nobody else would. I love him because he loves me."

Mason was taken aback by her response and felt conflicted because he was slightly proud of how mature her response was.

Mason said—

—"Well, he's gonna be locked away for a very long time. You're never gonna see him again. So it's best that you forget about him and move on with your life."

Judith was angry and wanted to say: 'You mean like how you moved on with your life after Mum shagged your best friend?' but thought to herself that it wouldn't be the smartest thing to say in that moment.

So instead, Judith said in a condescending tone—

—"And what exactly will I be moving on to?"

Mason looked at Judith with a disapproving look because of her tone with which she asked that question and said to her—
