Amaia Jiménez grew up in the North part of the city in a noble family with her older sister Natalia and her parents.

Amaia and Natalia attended one of the elite schools where Amaia excelled over everyone in her class and she enjoyed it immensely.

What Amaia was really interested in was computers.

She took to them like a fish to water.

She got so good at using them that she was able to control electrical devices by accessing them with a computer.

She could turn lights on and off.

She could access locked files and people's private information.

Her father had a great job and they lived in a large home.

Amaia and Natalia went with their Dad on occasion to buy groceries South of the Northern border.

On one of these occasions, Amaia was wearing her white school uniform and was offered something to drink by an old Woman wearing black robes.

Amaia fell unconscious from the poisoned drink and when she woke up, she saw her Father and Natalia looking at her half distraught and half relieved that she was ok.

They hugged her and explained to her what had happened.

After Irina and her parents left the party, everyone at the party blamed Amaia's parents.

Someone from the party found a dead person hidden in a closet and called the Police.

After the Police investigated the whole house, they found a gun inside Amaia's parents' room.

Detective Waters was there investigating to find out where the gun came from.

And after questioning Amaia's parents, Detective Waters concluded that Irina's parents must have been the ones who left the gun to frame Amaia's parents.

Despite being found innocent of the gun crime, Amaia and her family were banished from the North part of the city.

Amaia's Dad convinced them all that it was just temporary.

And that once they had helped find and capture the ones responsible, they would return to their old lives in the North.

As Amaia lived and went to school in the South part of the city, her parents spent their time looking for Irina's parents.

Amaia went with her parents whenever they would let her.

ON ONE OF THE TIMES WHEN THEY WENT TO INVESTIGATE, they had met with the Vendor and asked him if he knew Irina's parents or how to find them.

The Vendor told them all the information he knew about Irina's parents when they stayed with him.

Amaia truly believed that her parents would find them and that they would return to the North.

But it was not until Natalia hit her with a dose of reality that Amaia started to think that maybe it was only a fantasy.

Natalia told her that it was never going to happen and that they were never going back home even if they did find them.

And when Amaia saw Natalia leave on one of the fishing ships, she started to think things wouldn't return to the way they were.

A FEW MONTHS LATER, Amaia saw her parents being taken away by the Police to prison.

That was when it really started to sink in for Amaia that her former life was gone and it was not going to come back.

As Amaia stood in the doorway watching her parents being taken away, she realized the reality that she was never going to go back to the life she knew.

Left with nothing and no one, Amaia went to live with a friend from her school.

And she vowed to herself that she would free her parents from jail by finding Irina's parents and turning them into the police.
