Lauren and Kristofer pulled Mason into the lighthouse and closed the door to the balcony.
Then Lauren ran to get her medical kit and brought it over to him.
Mason was bleeding from his left ear and his left hand.
Lauren quickly started bandaging Mason.
Then Kristofer asked Mason—
—"What should we do?"
"Get that bag of explosives, set them up in the middle part of the stairs, hook up the long fuse and blow them up with the detonator."
Lauren grabbed the radio and said—
—"I'll call Irina for help."
She tried to call Irina with the radio, but it wasn't working, only the sound of static came from the radio.
Lauren said 'Hello? Hello?' but there was no answer.
Kris saw Lauren trying to use the radio and said—
—"Why isn't it working?"
Lauren thought about it and said—
—"They must be jamming the signal."
"How?" asked Kris.
Then suddenly, they heard gunshots hitting the windows and smashing them.
Lauren and Kris ducked down for cover.
Mason grabbed the explosives with his good hand and opened the door saying—
—"Quickly, we need to rig those explosives and blow them up before they break in and start going up the stairs."
Then they all went down the stairs with the explosives and started rigging them at the middle part of the stairs.
Then they heard and saw gunshots at the front door of the lighthouse at the bottom of the stairs.
And they heard them trying to break down the door.
"HURRY!" shouted Mason.
As they finished rigging the explosives, they hooked up the long fuse and then saw the front door of the lighthouse being knocked down.
They saw the Androids start going inside.
"RUN!" shouted Mason as they all ran up the stairs.
The Androids shot at them as they ran, and Mason jumped in the way of the shots to shield Lauren and Kris.
One shot grazed Mason's tricep as they all went back inside the room with the detonator.
They closed the door behind them and Mason pushed down on the detonator.
BOOM!
They heard a loud explosion and Mason peeked through the door to see if it had worked.
He saw the stairs had been blown up and there was a large gap in the middle of the stairwell.
