Ennio Morriconi grew up in the SouthEast part of the city with his parents.

Ennio's older brother Victor left to start his 4 years of service when Ennio was 5 years old.

So Ennio didn't really get a chance to get to know him.

As he was growing up, Ennio started realizing that his parents were ardent supporters of the Government and the Police.

His parents looked up to them as their saviors and they would praise them, which made Ennio start to resent them.

After Ennio's brother finished his 4 years of service, his family went to see him leave the ship.

The Captain of the ship and some guards were praising Victor and his parents telling them that Victor was the best worker they had and that he would go far.

Listening to this, just made Ennio resent Victor even more because he hated the Government and the Police.

He hated that they forced kids to live and work on a ship for 4 years and be treated like slaves.

What made it worse was that before Victor left, Ennio would remember Victor talking about how much he hated the Police and Government.

So now, 4 years later, Ennio looked at Victor who was basically like their pet and talked about the guards and Government like they were the greatest and could do no wrong.

Ennio wanted to tell his family that they all were traitors and idiots for siding with them, but he didn't say anything because he knew that they would berate and punish him for it if he said it.

So he just stayed quiet.

THEN, AFTER SOME TIME, Ennio found out the truth about Victor.

Victor told him that it was all an act he was putting on to deceive the guards and their parents.

Victor told him that he was able to get close to the guards and gain their trust, so that he could steal their stuff and keep it for himself or give or sell it to other people.

Once Ennio found out the truth, he saw Victor as a complete genius and wanted to learn how to do what he did.

So Victor started training him and showing him how to put on the act while hiding it from their parents.

Victor warned him that everyone would hate him and maybe even beat him up.

Ennio then told Victor that he should beat him up so that he would get used to it.

But Victor told him he wasn't gonna do that because the feeling of getting beat up multiple times would not lessen the pain of the beating.

OVER THE NEXT COUPLE OF YEARS, Victor got a job working at the docks unloading cargo and would steal things here and there whenever he had a chance.
