When Daniel returned home, he was shocked to learn that his home had been given to a different family.
The family had told Daniel that his Mother went missing a year ago.
The rumor was that some sex traffickers had taken Daniel's Mom and forced her to work as a prostitute.
Daniel immediately went searching for her.
How Daniel found out that his Mother was in the Cargo Ships part of the city, I don't know, all I know is what Yumi's Father told me.
Yumi's Father had remarried a Woman named Mariya Takeuchi sometime after Yumi went on the fishing ship.
When Mariya was about 6 months pregnant, she was kidnapped by the sex traffickers and Yumi's Father went to rescue her.
When Yumi's Father had found the sex traffickers' ship in the Cargo Ships part of the city, he was able to take down about 15 of them by himself.
Unfortunately though, Yumi's Father was captured by them and then he was subjected to torture from them.
They crippled Yumi's Father by breaking one of his legs beyond repair and he had to walk with a cane for the rest of his life.
Yumi's Father said that it was about 2 weeks of torture before he saw Daniel arrive that night.
He said that Daniel had got to the ship by taking a small boat and then climbed inside through a window.
Yumi's Father told me that Daniel infiltrated the sex traffickers' ship at night.
Daniel got very lucky because all the sex traffickers had been very drunk that night.
Daniel found the keys to the basement that the sex traffickers left lying around by mistake.
He went down the stairs into the basement looking for his Mom.
He went inside the basement and saw three people chained to the floor.
He saw his Mom, Yumi's Father and Mariya.
Daniel went over to his Mom.
Daniel's Mom looked very sick, she was very weak and her face was very bruised.
Daniel used the key and took off his Mom's chains.
Daniel's Mom opened her eyes and saw Daniel's face.
She felt like she was hallucinating or dreaming, because she had been poisoned and she didn't realize it was real until Daniel started speaking to her.
Daniel held his Mother in his arms and hugged her with tears in his eyes.
