Norman Polk pulled into one of the very few parking spots left and glances out his  window. The haunted house stood tall in the darkness of the night. Fun flashing lights went off every time someone entered and thick fog rolled in from a hidden fog machine somewhere. There was someone in a creepy bloody doctors Costume who was posted at the entrance, moving the line along. Creepy music played to spook the people out more. Norman then glanced at the the line. It didn't seem that long either- just around 20-30 minute wait. Very few people wore  costumes most of them had jackets or hoodies on. Norman finally turned to the person next to him, Sammy.

This was the first time Sammy would be going into a haunted house attraction, second year celebrating the Holliday. Mainly do to his Christian parents being so strict on anything he does to the point where there abusive. Norman was a bit worried about how he'll handle the scares but Sammy did say he wants to and he does watch horror movies and read horror book as well.

"Are you sure you wanna go in?" Norman asked just to make sure. Sammy was small for his age and Norman didn't want him to get trampled by people in there nor to scared. "No second thoughts or concerns?"

Sammy smiled, shaking his head no. "No. I want to do this." He answered looking in the Direction of the haunted house. His blue eyes lit up with thrill and excitement. "Let's do this!" He said excitedly.

Norman chuckled and nodded. "Alright let's go." Both of them opened their doors into the cool crisp night air and got out of the truck, meeting in the front. The two held hands as they head to the tickets booth and bought two, heading to the back of the line after.

The first five minutes waiting in line, Sammy and Norman watched the people enter the haunted house and hear the screams of the frightened. After another minute, Norman noticed Sammy was shivering and wrapping his arms around himself. Norman took off his own jacket and wrapped it around Sammy's thin one. Sammy glances up at him and smiled. "Th-thank you. But what about you?"

Norman smiled down at him and brought him into a warm hug. "Don't worry about me alight? I'll be fine."

After another ten minutes it was there turn to enter. Sammy stayed close to Norman as they steeped into the first room. In the los lighting it looked to be an entrance of an mental asylum. There was a desk near a wall with a dead body slouched in the chair with blood all over the body. On the walls were large bloody letters Spelling out -YOUR IN OUR HELL NOW- and - NO ESCAPE- through the fog and low lights they could see a creepy lady dressed in White with red splashes, sitting next to the door on the opposite side. She was looking down at something she was playing with making her face in shadows and they both can hear her humming as they slowly approached closer. "Go. Go. Go!" Sammy giggles as they move closer and closer. Norman chuckles at his response.

As there nearly at the door the lady popped up and screamed at them acting like she was going to get them, scaring them both. Sammy screamed as Norman jumped back a foot then both of them cracked up and continuing deeper in the haunted house.

The next area they found themselves in was the cafeteria. There was props of old rotting food on many of the tables and dead  nurses dummies on a the others covered with blood. One of the dummies sat up and screamed at them making Sammy jumping out of his skin and Norman Laughing.

There were so many other spooks and scares that got them both though out the haunted house as well as many amazing area they went though, like a guy under the beds in the room they sleep and devils sacrifice at the end. Sammy loved that part it nicely done. Norman's vary part was the posses patients going after the doctors and nurses.

Once they headed back into Norman's warm truck and got seated, Norman turn to Sammy. "Well. What did you think? Did you had fun bud?"

Sammy nodded eagerly. "I had a blast!"He replied. "Thank you for coming with me Norman. I been wanting to do this for a long time."

Norman smiled and held his hand. "It's not a problem bud. I'm glad you finally got to go
though a haunted house." Norman said. "And it's only 9:44. We still have a night. What would you like to do?"

Sammy took a moment to think. "Can we pick up a pizza and some movies and watch them at your house?"

Norman nodded with a smile. "Of course wr can love." He replied and started the car. Norman pulled out of the spot and headed to the pizza place as Sammy turned on the radio.
