Joey awoke with the rest of the children, from little Susie shouting good morning as always. He sat up rubbing his tired eyes as half of them were already getting dressed and bouncing around. He yawned as he stretched his arms high in the air then looked across the room at Henry. He was helping jack tie his shoes, little Lacie waiting for her turn. Joey turned to Norman and watched him cuddle up with his boyfriend, Sammy. Norman made eye contact with him for a second then they both started to get ready. Joey needed to do the same.

He got out of the warmth of his bed then started to straighten up his sheets and comforter until it was smothered neatly, placing his pillow on top. When he started changing to his plain white uniform the last kid ran out, leaving him the last one in there. He soon finishes getting changed then made his way down stairs to join the rest. Only to run straight into mom along the way down the stairs. "Oh. Good morning mom. I'm sorry about that." He forces a smile on his face.

Mom smiled back down at him. "That's quite all right, Joey. Morning to you as well." She giggled as she ruffled his brown hair. "You run along now." She moved aside for him to pass.

Joey nodded. "Yes ma'am." He then quickly proceeds down stairs. He could only a few steps in between them before mom stopped him again.

"oh and Joey?" She said in a motherly tone of hers, spinning back around to him.

Joey froze in place on a step, turning back around towards her. "Yes mom?"

Her gaze was nothing like her sweet voice in that moment. She started was cold and hard on him. "Did you ...by any chance go near the gate recently?"

Joey became unnerved by her question. Does she know he and Henry went pass the gate two days prior? Does she know they saw buddy's body and those.. creatures? She Couldn't know they had though. Other wise she wouldn't be hear asking him about it. But she suspects him and that made Joey nervous. No mom. I hadn't been anywhere near the gate or fence." He said putting on that smile again. "You told us it was dangerous to go around it,so we don't... Why do you ask?"

She continued with that hard gaze for another moment before smiling as well. "No reason, dear." She giggled. "Go on down now. I'll join you guys in a few minutes." She told Joey then turned her back towards him and going down the hall.

Joey waiting for mom to be outside before he took off down the stairs, all the way down the hall into to the kitchen, where Henry and Norman were preparing everyone's breakfast. "Henry! Norman! I-" He stopped when he noticed Sammy was also there helping out with the eggs. All three looked up from there pots or pans, glancing as Sammy. "...oh good. You guys already started without me." Joey said, making something up.

Henry nodded, with a smile. "Do you wanna start on the bacon, Joey?" He ask while flipping a pancake.

"Ya, sure!" Joey nodded, getting the bacon form the fridge and a pan of his own. As Joey was cooking it Henry gave him a look and he knew he had to be more careful around Sammy. Poor thing love mom the most and would be hurt once they had to tell him.

They served each of the children there a plate of food and recited there daily thankfulness once the oldest ones had there's. Everyone then began to eat while talking with the friends around them. The four boys sat together and talked about books their reading now or what they wanted to play once outside. The three of them couldn't talk About the truth or there plan at the moment do to Sammy being there but also how mom was watching them. Only them.

This worried Henry, a lot. Just yesterday mom  was searching everyone in the crowd to see if she could find the one who broke the rule.  Now today she was only watching the four of them. But still he, like the other two, were just smiling and laughing as they talked about normal Conversations and acting casual.
