Siren 2

For the pass week Norman watch Joey do every horror to the poor creature. He Injected it with different things to see what it would do. A lot of it harmed it. He also see how long it could live without being in the water. It almost died. And forces it to do tricks for food. Even shocked it when it showed signs on being a threat even though Joey would be the threat. Norman never said anything to Joey but felt he was getting a bit cruel.

One night he had to stay late at the lab late alone to finish up his report. He notice in the corner of his eye the siren watching him. He glances at him for a moment and found he looks sad. "Better crappy being in a cage huh?" Norman ask though thought it couldn't talk or be as smart as humans. Hell they never even herd it talk.

But the siren nodded at his question making Norman surprised. He got up and went to glass tank. " your smarter then we think Arnt you?"

The siren gives him a cheeky smile and swam away from the glass.

Norman went up to the ground fool and sat by the tank, putting his legs in the cool water. He saw the siren stick his head out of the water 15 feet away. "It's alright now. It's just you and me here. You can trust me." He held out his hand.

The siren slowly comes closer but stopped 3 feet away from Norman. "Are you scared of Joey? Is that it?"

Again he nodded.

"Ya he's a scary guy. But I'm nothing like him. I would never harm a innocent creature. And you seem pretty innocent." Norman still held out his hand.

The siren slowly approached Norman, making Norman smile and ran his hand down the sirens hair. It was the first Norman saw how cute he is. "Your not a murdering soulless creature." Norman chuckled.

The siren looked up at him. " y-Your not a-a cruel evil h-human" it spoke.

Leaving Norman again shocked. "You can talk?!"

The siren nodded to his question. "Yes."

The siren could talk! He could actually talk! His voice was so beautiful just like his looks. "Do you have a name?" Norman ask.

The siren shook his head no. "N-No name. Need Friend h-humans for name"

"Oh. Well can I give you a name and be your friend?" Norman ask and saw the siren beamed up.

The siren nodded, happy to have a name. He hoped it would be a nice one.

"Hmm. What about Toby?" Norman ask.

The siren thought for a moment then shook his hand no.

"Ok. What about Chris!?" Norman replied

Again the siren shook his head, frowning.

"Oh! Sammy!" Norman said.

The light in his eyes lit up at that name. The siren liked that. He nodded his hand eagerly.

"Sammy it is then!" Norman announced!
