Siren 4

Throughout the last week of Norman working at the lab, he'd been healing his and Sammy's burns. He'd also been keeping Joey away from him completely throughout the day by saying by Sammy's side, and he'd making a plan to get him out of there

Joeys hatred towards Norman grew as he was interrupting his work all week with this silly nonsense. The thing was an evil soulless creature who murdered humans. Why couldn't Norman see that! Susie and Audrey see that?

On Norman's last night, he had to put his plan to Motion tonight. but first he wanted to spend an hour with the siren alone. So when the others left he gathered dead fish in a bucket and walked out to the tank to an smiling eager siren. "Hey Sammy." He sat down beside him.

"Hello friend." The siren rest his head on Norman's lap and dug his hand in the fish bucket then takes a bite of it.

Norman sat with the siren and petted him as he watched him eat. "Eat up ok. We have a long drive."

Sammy glances up at him, fearful. The last drive he was burnt. He didn't wanna be harmed again.

"Oh don't worry dear. I'm going to get you back to we're you belong. The ocean." Norman ran his hands in his beautiful long hair.

The siren beamed. " home?.."

Norman nodded and hugged the siren. " Home."

Once Sammy ate the last fish, Norman cleaned his mouth from the blood then picked him up. The tank had been filling up while Sammy was eating and it was a good amount to hold him for the drive.

Norman begins to walk back to the tank when Joey stepped in, pointing a gun at Norman. "Put it back."

Norman glares at him. "It's a him and no. You are not harming Sammy again."

Joey loads the gun up. "I tell you one more time Polk. Put him back!"

"Your fucking insane Joey!" Norman yelled at him.

Joey was done with his shit. He wanted to get on with his progress of studying these creatures. He wanted to learn more about them! He wanted to be known of studying the first siren caught! Joey put his finger on the trigger to kill Norman when he froze

From a beautiful voice.

An amazing voice. The voice of angels as they fly around the heavens. The voice of the god blessing you. The voice of all that's good.

Norman looked down at Sammy who's singing to Joey. He's not affected by the sirens singing charm but Joey most certainly is.

Joey lowers his gun and slowly drops it. He slowly approaches the siren. The siren opens his mouth, revealing razor sharp teeth. His eyes were locked on joeys and joeys were stuck on his from the charm.

Sammy opened his mouth up more and limps out of Normans arms on to Joey and nearly took a bite out of him.

"Don't do it!" Came Norman's voice, making Sammy freeze and look at him.

Norman knelt down to the sirens level. "I know he harmed you and almost killed me. But it's not worth you becoming bad your self. I believe your good." Norman placed a hand on the sirens cheek. "I know your good Sammy."

The siren head his head into his touch and was thinking he was stopped before making a stupid decision.

Norman smiled and kissed the top of his head. "Let's get you home."

The drive took a couple of hours but Norman finally got there without any more trouble. He got out and went to the tank, getting Sammy out.

There was no one in this part of the bench yet do to the fact it was around 3 in the morning. Norman steps in the cool water with the siren in his arms. Once he got to chest deep he let the siren go.

The siren happily swam around Norman a few times and did a few flip jumps into the air as he watches. Then the siren came to him. "Thank you for all the help you gave me and saving my life."

Norman smiled. "Thank you for saving mine to. You be safe out there, understand?"

The siren nodded. "Understood."

Before the siren left he gave Norman a kiss on the lips. Norman happily kissed him Back. Then they parted and the siren was gone. Norman watched him swim back into the ocean, his blue tail glittering in the moon light.

Joey had lost the lab, team, boat and wouldn't get anymore money since he didn't have a siren anymore. They didn't believe he ever did even with the evidence he shown. He was so desperate that he became the laughing stalk of the science world.

Audrey went to college now to start he classes on space. She was told to keep quiet of what she worked on by Man in black and they gave her lots of hush money.

Like Audrey, Susie was also told to keep her mouth shut and given money. She decided to take the money and have a couple months of vacation before going back to college.

Norman was also given hush money to not say a word about it. He agreed and went back to college but changed his degree for studying the ocean. And at least once a month he drives to the ocean and meets his siren love.

Norman would eat with him as they talk, or Sammy would let him meet another of his kind. Sometimes he would give Norman cool looking sea shells as gifts and Norman would tell him story's of the human world as gifts Back to him.

Norman now believes in sirens and finds it insane that he's in love with one.
