The night was cool and the moon was full. It was the perfect autumn night to take a walk and have a break from college and work for a bit. Joey called his boyfriend, Sammy and ask if he wanted to take a walk in the graveyard nearby. It was a beautiful graveyard with lots of large tombstone to read and statues. It was well kept with plenty of flowers and trees. Sammy also wanted to learn more about the the things Joey Was into and loved going to these places. It was interesting and fun learning about it all. Sammy agreed to his offer and would meet him down in the lobby in half an hour.Joey waited in the lobby for a few minutes before Sammy showed up. He looked so charming and handsome yet he was in regular comfy clothing, Sweatpants, a long sleeve shirt and a jacket. But there was something about him that makes his heart beat faster. He never could put a finger of what it was. The thrill in his eyes? The seek of knowledge? The bravery of becoming his own character after his childhood? Perhaps it all and much more. "Good evening my dear." Joey greets as hey approached, with a kiss. "Are you ready?"
Sammy smuggled in his arms and nodded. "Hello Joey." He returns the greet. "Yes! I'm eager for this!" He replied gazing up at Joey.
Joey wrapped his arms around the shorter man and smiled. "Alright. Make sure your all nice and bundled. Don't want you catching a cold now."
Sammy nodded with a chuckle. "I'm nice and warm." He replied. With that the two of them held hands and stepped out into the cool night and headed for the graveyard.
Before arriving there, they decided to stopped at a coffee shop and order them selves some hot chocolate for the walk. When they finally steeped though the Iron gates their hot chocolates were cool enough to drink but still hot enough to enjoy. Sammy took a small sip of his and his body instilling started to warm up. He Joey wrapped one arm around him and kisses his head. "Isn't it beautiful sam?" Joey ask as he waved his free arm toward the graveyard.
Sammy glances around, enjoying the scenery. Joey was absolutely right. It was beautiful. The rows of tombstone's that were recently polish, the tall statues of angels and gods or goddesses guarding the cemetery, the nearby mausoleums had a bit light on the sides for people to enjoy the night. "It is beautiful here, Joey." He replied pulling out a quarter from his pocket, with Joey doing the same. They two placed them right next to the gate as an offering to the cemetery. Joey had taught him it was respectful to do so.
"You ready to go in, dear?" Joey ask offering his hand out to Sammy.
Sammy nodded, taking hold of his partners hand. "Let's go, dear." With that the two walked inside and down the left pathway just as a low fog rolled in.
