Ever since Audrey found out her true self, that she wasn't a human but an ink Experiment, she's been wanting to move on with her life with her father, Joey Drew. She knows he had been a monster at one point from the abuse of his pass lovers to human experiments, even forcing one of them to join him in these experiments. But since Joey's been alone for so many years he had released all the mistakes he had made and wanting to fix them. He tried to fix every mistake but many people didn't want anything to do with joey or was advised not to have him around. Andrey though wasn't one of those people. She decided, after a long time of thinking about it, to give him a chance and find out more about her fathers secrets.

It was Christmas time. The lights were hung up on each house and Business, the music was festive wand the air was cold. But Audrey wasn't planning on celebrating the holiday this year, in face she never did. Not even as a kid. She never had anyone to show her the joy of it so she never much cared. She planned on working though out the night on Christmas on her slides they needed. But a week before her father called and asked her to join him for Christmas like a real family. And she agreed.

Now being a few minutes away from his house she felt the excited for Christmas. She had seen movies and shows and know what to do and expect in a way. She even went out and bought her father a gift.

She drives down the street and soon pulled into his drive way at the address she gave him. She looked up to the beautiful lights twinkling though the night and smiled in awe. Soft blues and whites blinking on and off with a reef hung up above the garage. In his front yard a blow up Santa waved to the cars passing by next to a blow up snowflake. At the door there was the same soft white and blue lights around the door. It wasn't to overloaded like how rich people do to their house and it wasn't just a sign that a lazy man would do. It was just the right amount of decor. To her it was just right.

Audrey turned off the car and stepped out of her car. The crunch of the soft snow Beneath made her realized that it was again snowing. A slow steady pace but no doubt would get worse over the night. She breaths in the cool winter air and headed for her trunk to gather her bag and present, before headed inside.

Inside was warm and cozy looking. She immediately heard quit Christmas music playing somewhere deeper in the house and smelled the ham in the oven. She glanced around at the photos around on the walls and on night stands. Photos of her father with different people he loved and others of his art. There was one in particular with all three of the cartoons together with a note on the side. "Congratulations on your success" it read. It made her smile to read that. To know she had come from a talented man.

"Audrey! You made it!" Joey Drew greats with Joy.

"Hi dad! Merry Christmas!" She smiles as she gave him a hug. "Yes I made it. The roads wasn't that bad"

Joey hugged his daughter back. "Merry Christmas Audrey. It's wonderful your here." He let her go and waved her in. "Come in. The foods nearly ready." He disappears into the kitchen.

Audrey follows him a few paces and glances in the living room. The fireplace was lit by a warm fire, beside the big fluffy tree tucked in the corner of the living room. She came closer to the tree and got a better look at the ornaments he chose. Some sparkled with glitter while others were fun ones like the drawing pad ornaments on the top left. Under the tree she saw a few presents wrapped up in beautiful shinny red paper with a green bow tied neatly around the top. She brought Joey's gift over and placed it next to hers before joining her father in the kitchen. "The food smells wonderful, dad."

"Aw thank you Audrey." Joey looked Ay her as he was stirring up the mashed potatoes. "Dinners ready"

Audrey took her first bite and nodded. "This is wonderful!" She said going in for another bite then another.

Joey chuckled, eating his own plate. "Why thank you. I took cooking lessons when I started bettering myself." He replied. "Learned a lot. From making waffles to cooking lobster"

"That's awesome!" Audrey replied. "We're those your lovers in the pictures? I saw a woman in one and two men in two different others."

Joey face turn to sadness as he nodded. "They where. Yes." he sighs. " I ruined many good things..." his gaze went from the table to her. "Though one thing turned out good. My first one, Henry...is also your dad."

Audrey almost choked on her food at this news. "I am another dad?" She ask.

Joey nodded In reply. "You do. I created you in his image." He stuffed another bite as he looked away. "You have his eye color and nose." He returned his gaze to her. She was quit, listening to ever word of this, wanting to know more on her history

"Maybe I could visit him one day a meet him." She replied. There was hope and wonder in her voice.

Joey sighs and looks away, feeling guilty for giving her false hope on meeting him. "He.. uh....he doesn't know about you ...." He replied. "we don't speak at all so I never told him about my experiments."

Audrey frowned but nodded. "I understand. dad don't worry alright." She smiles to cheer up the mood. "Oh have you watched the latest episode yet? It's a Christmas one!"

"I haven't yet." Joey answered" I been waiting until tonight to"

They talked about the bendy cartoon to the arts then they talked science and over pie they talk about the paranormal for a bit. Once they were finished Audrey helped with cleaning up the table while her father made them both hot chocolate. "Hot chocolate goes great with presents" he jokes.

Audrey laughs. "I agree."

The couch was comfy, the fire was warm on her skin and the hot chocolate tasted delicious. The flickering Christmas lights and soft music playing made it even more delightful as she watched her father head to the presents and pick his up. He tears though the paper and pulls out a art journaling. Audreys art journal. "You missed my childhood so I wanted you to see my progress of it." She explained before taking a sip of her hot chocolate.

Joey looked at her then at the journal before he went though it. The first bit was simple shapes, lines and shades, first wobbly like then it got better. The lines straighter. The shading more neat. From shapes to buildings. One page had a row of houses, another had a whole city. Next was cars and boats. Audrey once draw a truck next to a house and ship sailing away. Joey soon came to the animal drawings. Sketches of birds in the wind and dog's digging for bones. From animals she learned to draw people. First it was the face with the lines in the middle with each part of a human face. The eyes, mouth, nose, chin. Then to parts like hands, legs, shoulders, ears and hair. Joey noticed she had struggled with the hands just as so many others but it took practice and With a smile he turn to the last page. It had everything she had learn. Joey could see the shapes in the buildings, the shading in the shadows. The cars driving though town. The lines making the road. Everything.

Joey was amazed by his daughter's talent and returned his gaze on her. "This is amazing Audrey! Thank you for this gift."

Audrey set her mug down and hugged her father. "Thank you dad. I'm glad you like it."

Joey hugged back then went to get her three gifts. "I want you to opened this one first" he said handing one to her.

She grabbed the present and gently pulled off the wrapping paper to find a book. It wasn't like any old book though. She could see the name of the author, her names name. She ripped off the rest of the paper to see the title. " The Illusion Of Living." It read. Joey sat next to her and explained. "I wrote this when I was crazy on power. It's a bit of my darker side."

Audrey nodded and hugged her father again. "Thank dad. I have always wanted to know that time period."

Joey smiled. "I understand that. Now here open the next two."

The two ended up watching old Christmas movies half an hour later. Audrey was snuggled up in her new blanket her father had gave her and started to fall asleep. The sounds of the tv and the memories of today filled her with peaceful dreams as she gives into soft sleep.
