On a sunny day in Lucea...
Luna sat creating beautiful flowers to rise from the ground, not far from the Shadow Moon castle. With a lift of her hand, she created a tree that she held the branch of as it grew up. She flew up into the air, then released her demon form to fly into the sky.
"Pow pow pow!!!" Atomu called, blasting fire from his gloves, all around the tree Luna had just made.
"AH!! Atomu, be careful! You'll hurt the tree," Luna flew down to him with concern.
"Damn right I will!! My power will never be overpowered!! I am the great chaotic fire child!!!" Atomu called.
"Chaotic fire child...?" Luna smiled awkwardly, being amused by the title Atomu had given himself.
"Great chaotic fire child! That's what my parents call me," Atomu grinned.
Luna hesitated, having learned that parents can be a sensitive subject for some.
"... do you ever miss your parents?" She asked.
"Yeah, course! But I'm having way too much fun being an adventurer to constantly miss 'em, ya know?" Atomu explained.
"I suppose it's easier, knowing they're on the same island..." Luna lowered her gaze with a sad look.
"You don't know who your parents are, do you...?" Atomu recalled.
Luna shook her head.
"Maybe it's for the best. I mean, they could have been the ones who abandoned me in the first place," Luna smiled awkwardly.
"Families don't do that," Atomu rejected with a deep frown.
"That's what I thought too. But if that's true... why did I wake up all alone?" Luna frowned, gaze lowering.
Atomu saw the sorrowful look in her eyes...
"How about I take you to meet my parents?" Atomu grinned, wanting her to meet at least a family.
"Uh. Really?" Luna gasped in slight excitement.
"Yeah!! It'll be a blast! I haven't visited them since I left on my adventure, so they'll be missing me wayyyy too much by now! I'll take you to meet them, and show you around the village! It'll be a load of fun!!" Atomu beamed.
"Yeah, let's do it!!" Luna cheered.
"Can I come too?" A wild Leo appeared!
"Ah!! Leo??? What are you doing here? You shouldn't wander around on your own! Where's Yurio???" Luna panicked to the lost child.
"Yuri isn't up to playing today..." Leo explained with a pout.
"Oh, how come...?" Luna asked gently.
"He won't leave his room. I think he wants to be left alone today..." Leo replied.
"I guess he is going through a lot... mm," Luna felt bad.
"What's with the book, by the way? You learning numbers??" Atomu noticed Leo carrying a tattered math book.
"I was going to try and sit out here and learn, but then I saw you guys playing," Leo explained.
"Wait, didn't you go to school, Leo? Surely, you're past adding numbers by now, right?" Atomu mentioned, seeing the title of the book "Sum Basics".
"Oh, Leo never went to school, like me!" Luna mentioned.
"Huh? How come??" Atomu asked.
"I don't like being away from Yuri. When I was younger, Mom tried to get Yuri to go to school, but he kept getting angry. Yuri doesn't want to learn anything; he just wants to train. I didn't want to go to school if Yuri wasn't there," Leo explained with a sad tone.
