With her memories wiped, Luna wakes up on an island all alone. Scared and fragile, she clings to the kindness offered to her by two demons. They take her in, and teach her magic!

Akira and Luna dancing in the corruption around them... ⬆️
"Wait...! Yukine... was taken away from his family? Because of you?!" Luna gasped with a hint of anger in her voice.
"It wasn't entirely his fault... if Yachel hadn't run off, we wouldn't have got involved," Yukine grunted.
"Why did Yachel run away?" Luna asked.
"... because we told him he couldn't pure a soul..." Yukine admitted.
"Despite his demon magic, he always tried to do everything an angel could. He wanted to prove he could fit in... but he was blinded by naivety. After we told him he just couldn't be like them, he ran off to prove us wrong. And, unfortunately, proved us right..." Yukine explained.
"... because he tried to save someone... you were forced away from each other...?! That's cruel!" Luna yelled.
"That's the angels for you," Akira sighed.
"But- Akira, you're not really... going to force him to stay, right?! You can't!! Yukine needs to be free!! He's finally... fighting to live..." Luna teared up uncontrollably.
"I'm sorry, Luna... but it's out of my hands," Akira replied.
Yukine hesitated to interrupt...
"No!! Yukine's not staying here!!!" Luna yelled, stepping in front of him.

"If Yukine doesn't stay here, we'll have another war on our hands! I'm already on thin ice; you have to understand that! I can't afford to make any more blunders!" Akira begged for her to understand.
Luna struggled to argue back, feeling overwhelmed with panic and emotion.
" But... you-...! You can't- I-"
"I'm not staying here," Yukine spoke up.
Luna gasped.
He was fighting...
"Yukine, come on, you must understand--"
"I'm not(!) staying here! I've finally found something worth fighting for! Like hell will I let you take it away from me!!" Yukine growled.
"This is your mess; you sort it out! Why don't you stand up for yourself for once?! Your kingdom will never recover from your mistakes if you don't try and fix them!!" he added.
"You staying here was one of the amendments for my mistakes! If you leave, the angels will declare war!!" Akira argued.
"If you keep hiding away like this, so will the vampires!! You accomplish nothing by complying with everything!!" Yukine argued back.
"What other choice do I have?! If I don't comply with the angels, they'll take everything from me!!" Akira yelled back.
"They already are!!! If you stand for nothing, what will you fall for?!!" Yukine argued.
