A supposedly normal day in Cold Stone...

"Ok, and next, 13, plus 15!" Luna read from a math book to Leo as they sat on the floor, helping each other learn.

"Erm..." Leo paused as he counted on his fingers.

"28!" He figured out.

"YES!!!" Luna beamed in excitement.

"17 take away 22?" Leo asked after Luna passed him the same book.

"Err... let's see... err..." Luna's gaze raised as she tried to recall how to math.

"Thirtyyyy..." Luna began to say.

"Take away," Leo repeated.

"Oh. Wait, how does that work??" Luna questioned, not really understanding negative numbers.

"I think we should use the number line for this one," Leo advised, bringing out a long scroll of papers taped together with numbers from -40 to 40.

"Aghh, why do I have the hard ones?" She frowned.

"How about we play a game instead?" she added.

"Can we play hide and seek?" asked Leo in a gentle voice.

"Sure thing! Ok! I'll count, and you hide, K?" Luna cheered.

"Would you guys shut up?! I'm trying to sleep! I've been making metalwork aaallll day!!" Echo complained.

"Whattt?! I just wanna play! And it's your fault if you're tired! You were the one who decided to work in the village's workshop- AH!" Luna was interrupted by a knife darting just inches from her face.

"Shut up, Luna! I won't miss if you wake me up again!" the upside-down Galaxy threatened.

"I wasn't even making that much noise-" Luna whimpered.

"Stop the stupid threats, Galaxy. I'm trying(!) to sleep too, ya know...?!" Echo hissed, eyes closed as she curled up on the sofa.

"Yeah! Shut it, Galaxy!" Luna copied with her tongue out.

However, Luna found no reply from Galaxy but a loud snore followed by sleep attack mode; Galaxy got up and started to run at Luna with more bloodstained knives.

"Aaaaghh! Leave me alone," Luna cried.

An hour later, Yurika walked into a daydreaming Leo, a sleeping Echo, a sleepwalking Galaxy, and a shaking Luna...

"Why do I always come back to the same thing?" Yurika complained, dodging several knives thrown by Galaxy's sleep attacks.

Yurio was with her. He went with her to get some things from the village.

"You guys really need to stop trashing this place- and why is Luna shaking??!" Yurio asked with a frown.

"Galaxy keeps throwing knives at me!" Luna complained, hugging Yurio desperately.

"Galaxy! For god sake! Stop attacking Luna for once!" Yurio yelled in annoyance, feeling very protective.

"Never~!" Galaxy yelled with a smile.

Leo ran over to Yurio and grabbed his arm.

"Well, that's enough messing around for one day. Come on! Time for training!" Yurika beamed.

"Never!" Galaxy repeated.

And so, they spent the next two hours studying or practising their magic.

"Hu!!" Yurio let out, running and swinging between the trees Luna had created.
