Around a century ago...
"Akira-San! How are you feeling today?" Eclipse asked the small Akira as he entered The Grand Library.
"Numb," Akira grumbled.
"Oh... erm..." Eclipse skimmed her notes.
"Ah! Feeling nothing at all...? But that can't be right! You still feel pain, do you not?" Eclipse smiled.
"SHUT UP!! Why do you have to be so insensitive all the time?! You don't understand anything!!" Akira yelled at her.
"Uh... I apologise. You understand that I cannot comprehend emotions to a sophisticated extent, do you not?" Eclipse asked.
"Stop talking to me with those long words. I'm not an adult... I'm a kid; treat me like that!" Akira begged.
"Uh. A kid? You are nearly a hundred!" Eclipse corrected.
"I'm a hundred and six!" Akira corrected.
"Ah! Yes! That's right. I forgot since you are so small. You are maturing very slowly for a demon. I read that when demons mature slowly, it means they hold great potential!" She added.
"That's stupid," Akira immediately returned.
"Don't take all the knowledge the books hold as facts... dad always says that..." Akira recalled.
"That was present tense. You mean the past tense, said, do you not?" Eclipse mentioned.
... Akira didn't answer.
"I should make sure that you have more English tutoring! Although, there are not many who are willing to teach you..." she added.
"I am sure people would be more willing if you showed up to the tutoring, mind you!" Eclipse giggled.
"Oh! I have been reading about an intriguing elemental magic. I believe you would be quite the powerful leader with such powers--"
"I don't want to learn powers!!! I told you that!!" Akira interrupted.
"I recall. But you do not have a choice. You must be powerful to lead the kingdom," Eclipse mentioned.
"My magic will kill everyone in it," Akira trembled.
"Yes, that is possible. Your magic is more powerful than anyone in the kingdom. It has even killed others before," Eclipse agreed.
Akira's eyes widened with a tremble as tears filled his eyes.
"That is why you must learn to control yourself. If you simply control your emotions, you shall also be able to control your magic," Eclipse analysed.
"I can't do that!!!" Akira snapped.
"Yes, you can," Eclipse corrected.
"STOP IT!! No, I can't!! Stop making your judgment based on facts alone!! Why don't you consider my feelings, for once?!!" Akira cried out.
"Feelings...?" Eclipse repeated in slight confusion.
"Oh, never mind... you're still learning... you're like a kid too... I should know that," Akira mumbled.
"I guess I should treat you more like a kid, huh? I'm not even considering your feelings... yet I have the nerve the lecture you on my own," He added.
"Treat me like a kid...? I suppose I have only existed for a year. Yes, you can treat me as a child if that is what you want," Eclipse agreed.
"What about what you want?" Akira returned.
