NEW CHAPTER: So I've been wanting to write this chapter for a long time... I had an idea literally YEARS ago that it would be fun to have some scenes of Shadow Moon trying absurd things to try and get Yukine's mask off, since he always wears it. And now, since Uni is FINALLY over, I've actually been able to write it!! So, I hope you enjoy, and let me know what you think!
A few days later, the uneasy air of loss had dissipated, and tensions had calmed...
Yurio was looking through some shelves of games in the library. He glimpsed out the door to see Luna and Yukine talking in the hallway. He turned back with an uncomfortable frown.
"Uuaaaaahh! Man, naps in hidden cupboards are the best," Aki yawned, hovering out from the columns of books, passing Yurio.
"Hey, so, like... how do you feel about Yukine staying here?" Yurio asked.
"Eh? What are you complaining about this time?" Aki asked without much interest, still in a state of sleepiness.
"Well, is Yukine really just staying here? Like... forever?" Yurio muttered, glimpsing at Luna and Yukine talking in the hallway.
"Looks that way. Why, you scared Luna might fall in love with him cause he's all shy and mysterious? Girls dig that, ya know," Aki said porudly as if refering to personal experience.
"How would you know....?" Yurio muttered, looking at the chaotic mess that was Aki.
"Why does he always wear that mask anyway?" he added.
"Maybe he's hiding a dark secret!!! Like a cool scar or something!!" Atomu suddenly jumped in the conversation, poping up from behind the books next to them!!!
"Agh!! How long have you been there?!!!" Yurio snapped.
"Or maybe he's hiding an even darker secret..." Aki smirked, unreactive to Atomu's abrupt appearance.
Atomu and Yurio fell silent with intrigue as they both looked to Aki.
"Maybe..... he's hot!" he whispered with a devious grin.
They all suddenly snapped their gazes to Yukine, question playing on their mind.
"Yeah, I could see it," Atomu agreed.
"Watcha doing, stalkers?!" Galaxy bounced in on their intense stares as she entered the room, leaning against the doorframe.
"Agh! Galaxy, move out the way! We're tryna figure out if Yukine's hot or not!" Aki hissed as Galaxy blocked their view from the door.
"Aww, when you've got a pair of steamy hot assets ready for you right here, Akiiii???" Galaxy pouted, leaning closer to him, exposing her chest.
"YOUR ASSETS ARE IN THE WAY!!" Aki raged as Yurio diverted his gaze with a look of disgust, wanting no part of their engagement.
"Well, it's not like we'll be able to find out. He never takes his mask off," he muttered.
"Hmmmmmm??? Well, maybe we could change that~" Galaxy grinned as the idea for wasting their whole day manifested.
"Uh.... wellll... it would be interesting to see what he's hiding," Yurio admitted.
"Maybe it will unleash an evil spirit!! Like his mask is actually a seal locking it away!!" Atomu suggested in excitement.
"What was that about an evil spirit?" the ghost, Casper, suddenly popped out from the same place Atomu had been, making him jump out in surprise.
"Ah!" Atomu let out, tumbling out the shelf along with some books.
