A couple of hours later...
Everyone woke up in a room filled with darkness. The dim light from a computer screen cast eerie shadows, revealing a pack of cards, some food and drink, and a pillow with an animated character on it??
"Wh-what's going on?!" Yurio stuttered, his voice shaking with panic. He struggled against the ropes, binding his wrists and ankles.
"Yuri..." Leo whimpered, his eyes wide with fear, tied up next to his brother. His small frame shivered, and he glanced around the room, seeking any sign of escape.
"Why are we tied up?!" Luna asked, her voice rising as she noticed her own restraints. She twisted her wrists, wincing as the ropes bit into her skin.
"Well, this isn't the first time today..." Kyou muttered, rolling his eyes despite the tension. He tested the strength of his bonds with a resigned sigh.
"Brother, you said you wouldn't talk about that!" Haru complained, his voice a mix of irritation and anxiety. His face flushed with embarrassment, and he avoided everyone's eyes.
"Yeeeaaahh, this does seem familiar," Galaxy muttered, her eyes narrowing as she scanned the room. She tugged at her ropes with a growing sense of frustration.
"I knew I wasn't the only one!" Aki agreed.
"Quit it!!" Echo yelled, her voice cutting through the room. Her eyes blazed with frustration, and she struggled against her restraints.
"Guys, what happened???" Atomu asked, his voice tinged with desperation as he tried to burn the rope.
"We... passed out from the gas... right....?" Luna mumbled, her head spinning with dizziness. She blinked rapidly, trying to clear her vision.
"Oh yeah. Someone was tryna kill us!" Atomu recalled, his eyes widening as the memory came back.
"What the heck are we still alive for then?" Aki asked, his voice a mix of confusion and anger.
"Beats me, but it seems this is where the 'attempted killer' was watching us. Meaning, he must be here with us," Echo told them, her voice steady but her eyes flickering with unease.
"Oh, come on! Don't say that!!!" Luna squealed, her voice trembling. She pulled her knees up to her chest, trying to make herself smaller.
"Hmhmhm. I see you're all finally awake," a feminine voice echoed around them as a figure placed two cards together, building a card tower on the desk. The voice was calm and mocking.
"Ah!!! He's here!!!!" Atomu squeaked, his body tensing.
"That sounds like a she..." Leo mentioned, his voice barely above a whisper.
"For people who are tied up, paralysed with weakness, you sure do talk a lot," the voice continued, dripping with amusement.
It was coming from behind a chair of black leather...
"Are you the one who's behind all this?!" Yurio grunted.
"Oh, darling, what a clever boy you are... hmhm!" the voice laughed as the chair swung round to find a.... girl... boyyy.... person sitting in it???
