"Hey! Get back here!" Hiro complained as Galaxy, Aki, and Atomu ran out to the exit.
"Uh! Guys! Wait a sec!" Echo, too complained, her plan to have someone take Luna and Leo out of the battle range.
"Hm!" Echo met Hiro's gaze.
"Eek!" he hurried out the window, jumping to his dragons for safety.
"Tst. Such a coward. He really is like Akira..." Echo grunted.
"Akira's not a coward!!" Luna detested.
"WE'RE NOT HAVING THIS ARGUMENT RIGHT NOW, LUNA!!" Echo snapped.
"I'll go after him!" Eclipse quickly informed them, bringing out a demon form and jumping after Hiro.
"Good call. Come on, Luna. Now he's out the way, we should make a run for it!" Echo suggested.
"But what about the others?" Luna asked with concern.
"They're stronger than you think. They should be fine. But you and Leo aren't battle-ready. Your safety is my priority, so hurry up and follow me," Echo urged, stretching her hand out.
"Right..." Luna mumbled, shamefully accepting it, knowing she couldn't be of any help.
"Don't worry, Mistress. We'll go help the others and keep them safe," Haru told her.
"Thanks, Haru. See? They'll be fine. Let's move!" Echo returned, turning to leave.
They ran out of the building and into the forest.
...
"Erm... what do we do now?" Kakashi asked, establishing that everyone had left them.
"Well, I'm not taking the blame for this," Umemi grunted.
"Hold on a minute," Kakashi interrupted.
"We can't just leave like this. What about the mission? The vampires hired us to destroy any demon we came across," he added.
Umemi rolled her eyes.
"Well, we can't do it now, can we? We're outnumbered and outmatched," she argued.
"True. And we can't fight the dragons... Although those scales do look quite--"
"Kazuko!" Umemi yelled.
"Alright. Alright. We'll split," he agreed.
"I'm never working with you people again," Umemi sighed.
"Aww, don't say that! Ah-hah! We had fun!" he laughed, chucking his arm around Kakashi as they started walking out of the building.
"IT WAS NOT FUN!" Umemi yelled.
"That girl was quite fun," he replied.
"I knew it! You like her, don't you?!" Umemi yelled back.
"You're having trouble with this homosexual thing, aren't you?" he smirked.
Meanwhile...
"Hiro! What the hell are you doing?!" Eclipse demanded to know, pulling Hiro close by his collar.
"Tryna protect you from them! I know they're trying to hurt you!" Hiro yelled.
"You're not protecting me! You're putting both of us in danger!" Eclipse growled, her grip tightening.
