In the next week that passed by... the angels had gotten hold of some alarming information...
"Akira, so we meet again! What a lovely reunion," Queen Sapphire greeted Akira.
"It's a pleasure as always, Lady Sapphire," Akira returned.
"Don't lie; it's pitiful," she returned.
"Now... you're probably wondering why I called you here," Sapphire smiled.
"Indeed," Akira replied.
"You see... we were informed of some truly heartbreaking news the other day! Apparently... Yukine has been sighted in the human world!" Sapphire announced.
Akira's eyes widened.
"But how could that be when we clearly agreed he'd stay in the underworld or else, well, we'd have to declare war, now, wouldn't we?" Sapphire reminded him.
"And I know you wouldn't dare to go against our agreement when you've already faced the consequences of betraying us! I'm sure this is just a misunderstanding, so I would really appreciate it if you would fetch Yukine back for me? And make sure he stays this time, yes? You're capable of that much, aren't you?" Sapphire went on.
Akira hesitated to speak up...!
"... I....!!!!" his words froze as he recalled the pain he was subjected to the last time he was here. The tears of the family he tore apart. The threat to his kingdom he had just risked.
The angels have already made it perfectly clear they'd be more than willing to declare war once again. His kingdom wasn't prepared for that! They could hardly keep themselves alive in society, let alone a war!
"Yes, of course. I'll... I will make sure he returns," Akira agreed, voice trembling.
"Perfect! I knew you'd be cooperative! That's all I needed to talk about. Is there anything you wanted to discuss, or are we done?" Sapphire asked with a satisfied grin.
Anything I want to discuss?! How about my side of the peace agreement?! The fact my parents fought for this peace only to have it torn apart like this! Why can't we all make peace? Why can't we all get along? Why did they have to die for this?!! Why did I kill for this?! Why is nothing I do good enough?! Why am I alone?! Why am I hated?! WHY?!!
"... We're done," Akira answered.
Sapphire smirked.
"Very good. Well, best of luck with your kingdom! I do so hope you can overcome the corruption it's currently facing. It's so strange... the angels have never fallen that low. If we face struggles, we talk it out and make compromises instead of ribbing each other's throats out like animals! Yet the demons are being so cruel and vile to one another because of the crisis! It's no way to solve things... I just don't understand it!" Sapphire commented.
"I said we're done. Good day, Lady Sapphire," Akira grunted, turning to leave.
He teleported back to his own world...
"Hm. Don't take your frustrations out on me, Akira. It's not my fault you can't control your kingdom," Sapphire grinned.
"Lady Sapphire, some purebloods are fighting a half-blood in Tezour," a woman informed her.
"Just send the guards as usual," Sapphire ordered.
"Yes, my lady. Also, Sir Charles is waiting in the courtyard again. He says he won't leave until he may present you with a rose...... which looks to be picked from the courtyard," the woman added.
