The next day...
Yurio woke up in his bed. He lay silent for a few moments, eyes adjusting to the light.
"Mmm..." he let out, eyes squinting shut again out of rejection to the light.
"What happened...?" He mumbled, not recalling putting himself to bed last night.
"... uh!" He suddenly recalled his outburst...!
"WE'RE NOT A REAL FAMILY; WE'RE HARDLY EVEN FRIENDS, YET YOU HAVE THE NERVE TO TREAT ME LIKE SOME CHILD WHO CAN'T DO A DAMN THING ON THEIR OWN?!!"
"..." Yurio's gaze diverted, not wanting to have let his anger out in front of anyone...
"Want to find out?" He recalled Galaxy saying.
Yurio's eyes widened in horror to recall those words.
Yukine stepped forward towards the freezer room that lay untouched among the destruction of the house...
"No...! Please don't... go in there..." Yurio let out, eyes unable to find the strength to open as he lay collapsed in the snow.
Yukine paused, glimpsing back at him.
His hands were shaking, body trembling. Yet he couldn't get up. His body refused him movement.
"..." Yukine turned back, bending down to pick Yurio up off the ground.
"Hm?" Galaxy let out in confusion to see him walking the opposite way from the major reveal!!!!
"Uh!! What are you doing? Don't you wanna see what he was protecting?!" Galaxy asked.
"He's the one we should be protecting right now," he returned simply.
Galaxy's eyes widened in surprise.
"Oh, boo! You're no fun at all!!" She complained.
"You're childish desire for games shows your ignorance. Be careful not to let Luna see it too..." Yukine mentioned.
"Hm. I don't take advice from my moral voices. But you have fun listening to yours~ see where it gets you..." Galaxy claimed before teleporting back to Shadow Moon without them...
... Yurio sighed, realising they hadn't gone in the freezer room after all.
Yukine... brought me home... what the hell...?!
Luna suddenly came into Yurio's room with a cup of hot chocolate, followed by Leo.
"Uh!" He forced himself to sit up in an attempt to look lively.
"Yurio, are you feeling any better?" She asked, placing the cup by his bed.
"Yeah, of course. I think the medicine Echo got has helped loads. I'll be in perfect health in no time," Yurio smiled.
Luna looked down at his hands.
"Yurio... you're shaking," she mumbled with worry.
"Oh, that? Haha! That's nothing. I'm fine, ok? Don't worry. I'm more worried about you... uh, and how come Leo's covered in flour...???" Yurio suddenly noticed that Leo was, in fact, covered with flour.
Luna quickly placed her hand on his head, ignoring his question.
"You're burning up too!! Don't lie to me, Yurio! Yachel's magic is still making you weak..." Luna lectured him.
"But I feel fine," Yurio assured her.
"Hm," Galaxy muttered, standing bored in the corner.
Leo hid behind Luna, holding a teddy to his face in defence to Galaxy's presence.
