"Galaxy, got a minute?" Aki asked, seeing Galaxy go to walk upstairs.
"Can you last that long?" Galaxy returned.
"THIS IS SERIOUS, AND THAT WAS ONE TIME!!" Aki raged.
"Mhm~ sure," Galaxy grinned.
"Look... about what happened with Kata--"
"Nothing happened with Kata~ we played in the forest aaaalllll day, remember?" Galaxy smiled innocently, yet her tone was solemn.
"Galaxy... Vampires are attacking... you know they're up to no good! Someone's gonna get hurt!" Aki detested.
"And the only way to decrease the body count is to control the strings, wouldn't you agree?" Galaxy corrected.
"Do you have any idea how the others would feel if they found out what you're--"
"They're not going to find out... right, Aki?!" Galaxy pulled him close by his collar.
Aki's gaze of disproval didn't break.
"What? You're looking at me with such resentment... are you disappointed in me now you've seen my true colours?" Galaxy wondered.
Aki didn't answer her question.
"I hope the hand you're cheating yourself with is better than the one dealt to you," Aki grunted, turning transparent and walking through her...
Galaxy turned to watch him leave... her expression... stern and unchanged.
Flashbackkkk...
Galaxy stood among the bloodied corpses she'd created...
"So, you wanna tell mamma what you've been up to with your little friends~? You've been lying to me... and for what? It must have been something very important," Galaxy asked the chained-up Kata.
Galaxy had her arm against the wall, over Kata.
"I know it's wrong..... but this is kinda-"
"Don't. Say it," Aki interrupted Charlie, nodding his head.
They were both still hiding.......
'"I'm sorry, Galaxy! I-I didn't know what else to do... after the vampires did all those horrible things to you- I- I just couldn't take it! They've taken you away from me!! I know you never wanted any of this!! I just wanted- to bring my best friend back to me!" Kata cried.
"Bring her back...?" Aki repeated, getting lost in memories of possibility as he recalled the sweet girl he used to know...
"By making yourself a test subject?! You're literally putting yourself through the exact same bullshit as I went through, you moron!! You think I'm some damsel that needs to be saved?! You're my best friend; I thought you'd treat me like one and accept who I am!! ISN'T THAT WHAT BEST FRIENDS ARE SUPPOSED TO DO?!!" Galaxy screamed, furious.
"... so she's chasing the old Galaxy...? I see I'm not the only one to make that mistake..." Aki muttered to himself.
Kata cried as she tried to get her words out.
"I-"
"Ah, ah. No more talky. For one damn second, just listen to me!" Galaxy ordered, scarily calm.
"So, this is where you've been getting all those potions?" she scoffed, looking around the dingey lab, now reeking of blood.
"Working with these vile rats? Ah- forgive my inaccuracy. I suppose the real rat is you..." her tone darkened as she looked back at Kata like looking upon a misbehaving child.
