They ran after Akira... he soon stopped by a lake to splash his face with water.
"There he is. We'll wait here, ok? Don't get too close to him..." Echo advised Luna.
"I'll be careful, don't worry. I just... I have to be sure...!" Luna told them, walking forward.
"Look who's back!!!" Galaxy sang, teleporting to the spying Aki and Echo.
"Back ah-" she continued, singing.
"Shh!" Echo and Aki hissed, interrupting her.
"Hm?" Galaxy turned her attention to Luna and Akira.
"Hm? Too much for you already, Midnight?" Akira said jokingly as he turned his head, feeling a shadow over him.
He gasped to see Luna meeting his gaze.
He froze.......
"Err... h-hey, again, buddy... err..." Luna stuttered, suddenly beyond nervous.
"Luna..." Akira slowly addressed.
...
"Well, this is awkward," Echo mumbled, hiding behind a tree with the others.
"... should we run while we still have the chance?" Aki suggested.
"Don't be a jerk," Echo told him off.
"Yeah, Aki! Don't be a jerk!" Galaxy copied.
"AS IF YOU CAN TALK!!" Aki yelled.
"Yes, I believe I am quite capable of that skill, Aki," Galaxy replied.
"Don't mock me!!" Aki yelled.
"Oh, believe me, darling, you don't need me to do that," Galaxy smirked.
"WHAT YA TRYNA SAY, HUH??" Aki shouted back.
"Guys!! Shut it! I'm tryna listen!" Echo interrupted.
"She started it!!" Aki complained.
"Ladies do not start fights, but they can finish them~" Galaxy referenced.
"GAAAH!!! ONE OF THESE DAYS, I'M GONNA SHOVE-"
Echo abruptly knocked him out by slamming her knuckles into his face without even taking her eyes off Luna and Akira.
"...... Hah!" Galaxy mocked the unconscious Aki, pointing her finger at him with a grin.
Meanwhile...
"What are you still doing here?" Akira asked.
"Err... we're... still working on the whole 'getting home' thing," Luna explained.
"But I- erm... I wanted to ask you something..." Luna mumbled, diverting her gaze as her hands fumbled together.
Akira didn't reply...
He gently raised his hand to Luna's collarbone, making Luna blush intensely at his unexpected contact.
"Uh...?" She let out.
"Where's your necklace?" he asked.
"Uh... Huh?" Luna mumbled in confusion, feeling her cheeks burning up.
"I gave you a necklace some months ago... well, in this dimension, anyway..." Akira mentioned, his hand falling back to his side, remembering this Luna was not the one he knew.
"Oh...? I... don't recall..." Luna mumbled, mind racing at the very thought of such a precious memory.
Akira sighed as he raised his hands behind his neck, unlocking the chain that held a dark red gem around his neck.
