"So, you're on our side now?" You asked skeptically as you and Gally ran through the corridors of a Wicked building.
"I always was, y/n," Gally replied.
"Didn't seem like it when you killed Chuck." You mumbled. Gally stopped and stared you right in the eyes.
"I didn't-"
"Gally, watch it!"
Gally didn't turn fast enough, the Wicked guard was on him, trying to wrestle him to the ground. Gally lunged, trying to buck the guard off, while you stood by, desperate for a clear shot.
Finally, you hissed, "Shuck it," under your breath, jumped on the guard, pulled him off Gally, and shot him in the throat.
"Come on, let's go." You waved him over and he followed.
"Thanks..."
"No problem. Just keep an eye on your six next time."
"Y/n...I didn't mean to kill Chuck."
"I know. Let's just keep moving."
"This way."
You turned a corner, only to find three other wicked guards. Before you could fire, you went down with a scream and a shot in the shoulder. Gally pulled you behind the wall and hissed, "Stay here," before running back around the corner.
You heard screams, shouts, gunfire, and had only a second to wish for Gally's safety before he was back.
"It's ok, you're ok." He mumbled reassuringly, helping you stand.
"Thanks."
"No problem... just keep an eye on your six this time." He teased. "Let's get you out of here."
