The Glade was quieter than usual as night fell, with the usual evening routine winding down. The sun had set, and the campfire's warm glow illuminated the space, casting long shadows against the towering walls. Most of the Gladers had gathered around the fire, sharing stories and laughter after a particularly successful day. However, amid the usual bustle, there was an unusual commotion near the fire pit.

You had been part of the celebrations, and the evening's festivities had led you to indulge a bit too much in the ale that had been brewed. Your laughter, louder than usual, echoed through the Glade. You were clearly intoxicated, struggling to keep your balance and finding it impossible to focus on anything for more than a few moments.

Minho, who had been helping with the evening chores and making sure everything was in order, noticed the disturbance. He glanced over and saw you swaying unsteadily near the fire, clearly more than a little tipsy. Your attempt at dancing was less coordinated than usual, and it was evident you were having difficulty standing upright.

"Hey, y/n!" Minho called out as he made his way through the crowd. His voice carried a mix of concern and mild annoyance, trying to cut through the merriment surrounding you.

You looked up, your vision slightly blurred, and tried to focus on Minho. Your face broke into a wide grin as you attempted another twirl, nearly losing your balance. "Minho! Look at me! I'm a great dancer!"

Minho shook his head, trying to suppress a worried sigh. "Alright, alright, I think you've had enough. Let's get you settled, yeah?" He reached out and placed a steadying hand on your shoulder, supporting you as you wobbled.

You giggled and leaned into him, the warmth of his touch grounding you somewhat. "I'm fine! Just having a good time. Come on, Minho, join me!"

Minho's expression softened, though his concern remained. "You're not fine. You're barely standing up straight. We need to get you somewhere safe where you can sleep it off."

He gently but firmly guided you away from the crowd. As you stumbled along, you laughed and hummed to yourself, clearly in high spirits despite the alcohol. Minho couldn't help but feel a twinge of amusement mixed with his worry.

"Seriously, y/n, you've had a lot to drink," Minho said, his voice a blend of amusement and concern. "You're going to regret this tomorrow morning. Trust me."

You looked up at him, a playful glint in your eyes. "I didn't think I'd drink that much. It was a celebration, you know? It's not every day we get to relax like this."Minho nodded, though his expression remained serious. "Yeah, well, sometimes celebrations get a bit out of hand. We don't need you ending up in trouble or feeling miserable because you went overboard."

He led you to a quieter spot away from the fire and the noise. It was a grassy patch under a large, old tree that provided some cover from the chill of the night. Minho helped you sit down carefully, making sure you were comfortable.

"Thanks, Minho," you said, leaning against him as you settled onto the grass. "You're really looking out for me."

Minho sat down beside you, his presence a reassuring comfort. "I'm always going to look out for you, y/n. You're my friend, and that means I'm here for you, no matter what."

You rested your head on his shoulder, feeling the comforting warmth of his presence. "I'm really grateful for you. I know I've been a bit of a mess tonight."

Minho chuckled softly, though his tone remained gentle. "Yeah, just a bit. But it's alright. We all have our moments. What matters is that you're safe now."

You glanced up at him, seeing the genuine concern in his eyes. "I don't know what I'd do without you. It's good to have someone I can rely on."

Minho smiled, a mix of affection and relief in his expression. "You don't have to find out. I'm here, and I'm not going anywhere. Just remember, next time maybe take it a little easier on the ale."

You laughed softly, the sound slightly slurred but genuine. "I'll try. I just wanted to have a little fun."

Minho nodded, his eyes scanning the area to make sure everything was alright. "I know, and that's fine. But fun shouldn't come at the expense of your well-being. Promise me you'll take care of yourself."

You nodded, feeling the weight of the alcohol slowly wearing off. "I promise. Thanks for making sure I don't do anything too crazy."

Minho placed a reassuring hand on your shoulder, giving it a gentle squeeze. "That's what friends are for. Now, try to get some rest. Tomorrow's a new day, and we'll face it together."

As the night grew quieter and the stars sparkled above, Minho stayed by your side, ensuring you were comfortable and safe. The fire's light flickered in the distance, casting a soft glow on the peaceful scene. Even in the midst of your inebriation, Minho's presence provided a steady anchor, reminding you that no matter what, you were never alone.

In the stillness of the Safe Haven, you felt a profound sense of gratitude for Minho's care and support. The night may have started with stumbling and laughter, but it ended with the comforting certainty that, in the Glade, you had a friend who would always be there to help you find your way.
