"Hey, Gally," You said, sitting down next to him on a log in front of the fire.
"Hey, y/n. How was your day?" He asked.
"Fine," You replied, "Nothing special. How was your day?"
"Awful," He sighed.
"Aw, what's wrong, captain?" You asked, leaning in closer to him.
"It's just stressful sometimes. So much is at stake, and there's so much to get done," Gally said.
"I know, baby," You replied and gave him a kiss on the cheek. "But you do so well. You're so strong and brave, you know that?"
Gally blushed and you giggled.
"What?" He scoffed, trying to hide his smile.
"You're cute when you're flustered," You replied.
"You're cute when you giggle," Gally replied.
"I guess we're both cute, then."
"I guess so."
You sigh and lean on Gally's shoulder. He puts his arm around you, and you pull away, surprised.
"I thought you didn't like being affectionate in public?" You said, "Don't you have a reputation to consider?"
"Shuck my reputation. I'd like cuddles," Gally said in the low, deep voice that gave you butterflies.
"Oh, you would?" You asked.
"Shut up and get over here," Gally ordered.
"Yes, captain," You said with a sigh, melting into Gally's arms.
